Well this is interesting. Are the neuropsychiatric side-effects and delirium of drugs like A-PHP in part mediated by anti-cholinergic properties? Its in the nanomolar range, which may be quite relevant considering the doses used during binges...

Its 3D structure could somehow superimpose with trihexyphenidyl-like compounds, with the nitrogen-oxygen distance being similar (it first looks like the distance in the former must be much longer, but that cyclohexyl ring will affect the 3D shape).
The book linked here discusses the monoamine reuptake inhibition and anticholinergic effects of this kind of molecules, and how it depends on the distance between the nitrogen and oxygen atoms and other features. In Google Books some of the pages aren't visible, and I can't access the full pdf version right now.
Edit: If reduced to an ephedrine derivative, that alpha-PHP could make a good peripheral anticholinergic.

That kind of compound could have use as an asthma spray with two different bronchodilation mechanisms. But not good as a recreational drug.
Trihexyphenidyl (Artane) saw abuse in the British Polish community when taken with alcohol, specifically Spirytus Duch Puszczy (Polish spirit). I do not know if the high % alcohol is to alter pharmacokinetics or pharmacodynamics but it was very specific in that way that accidental discoveries so often are.
