This is a study examining the effect of Nigella Sativa in opiate dependency. I saw some members talk about this so it seemed like a good idea to share it.
Never tried this myself but sounds promising.

Study also mentions Verapamil (a calcium channel blocker) as a great medication for decreasing the intensity of opiate withdrawal symptoms in addition to Clonidine which pretty much every opiate dependant person knows about.

Interesting that the study mentions opiods having an effect on voltage dependent ion channels. No wonder gabapentin works so well for withdrawals.

I'm very interested in nigella sativa because a long time member and opiod user recomended it to me.
