Bluelighter
A nameless man in a silent forest
Gazing at a blanket of white
Stillness hangs in the air
Natures song
Wordless joy throbs
A heart opens, no one to hear his sobs
Snow flakes slowly spiral to the ground beneath his feet
Not a sound just his heartbeat
Respiration slows
As the defening silence descends upon him
Time loosens its grasp
Thought takes a break
He stands upon the frozen lake
Tall lonely giants covered in velvet white
Engulf him with their ancient life
Who said trees couldn’t speak
In this forgotten place every tree radiates with presence
The thought that no one has ever seen this before arises
Because no one ever has
Only in the stillness of the forest when the mind gives up
Does nature reveal herself in all her splendor
Perfection lies tucked away in an old forest no ones ever seen
A place so still no one ever will
Gazing at a blanket of white
Stillness hangs in the air
Natures song
Wordless joy throbs
A heart opens, no one to hear his sobs
Snow flakes slowly spiral to the ground beneath his feet
Not a sound just his heartbeat
Respiration slows
As the defening silence descends upon him
Time loosens its grasp
Thought takes a break
He stands upon the frozen lake
Tall lonely giants covered in velvet white
Engulf him with their ancient life
Who said trees couldn’t speak
In this forgotten place every tree radiates with presence
The thought that no one has ever seen this before arises
Because no one ever has
Only in the stillness of the forest when the mind gives up
