Hi! I'm Kaaskoek (translated: cheesecake), a 24 year old male from the Netherlands. After smoking shitloads of weed (which is freely available here =D), eating big piles of shrooms and dropping a little bit of MDMA a few times I recently stumbled upon the magical world of research chemicals. I always had a strong interest in mind expanding substances but never really had the means to come by them. Or the friends to use it with. Recently that has changed. Right now I'm a little high on methoxetamine. I like a small dosage combined with a little bit with of weed.

But I also have a question for you awesome Bluelighters: a couple of days back I had my first experience with 6-APB, or Benzo Fury, and I must say I liked it a lot. The only problem is the insomnia afterwards. Unfortunately I have little access to pharmaceuticals like benzo's and other controlled substances. I'll be going to a festival in about 2 weeks and wanted to know if any of you have any tips to catch some Z's after a night of 6-APB. I have been looking into Etizolam, but I don't know for sure if that's the way to go.

I hope you all can help me a little bit with this and I look forward to participating to these forums!

Welcome to bluelight Kaaskoek! (aka cheesecake =p) its great to have you on the forums

i like your selection in drugs all fine substances although i have never tried methoxetamine or 6-APB. But I'm sure someone else here can help you with your question. It'd probably be best actually to create a thread of its own asking that question in here: http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/forums/16-Basic-Drug-Discussion

benzodiazepines tend to effect everyone uniquely, however I would suggest you try out temazepam, it is by far the best sleeping medication I have used to date. It doesn't interrupt your REM sleep, so that getting refreshing rest at night isn't impossible. :)

Welcome to Bluelight!

Thank you for the comments! The problem is that where I live it's not that easy to come by these kind of pharma's (need to go to a doctor and they prescribe benzo's that easily). I posted a question in the B&D Etizolam thread and placed an order. So let's hope something good comes out of it :)

etizolam is very likely to cause blepharospasms just so you know, although most benzodiazepines can cause this in general, especially when it is used chronically. Try to not have to use it frequently to avoid addiction/tolerance. :)

I have tried 9 benzos, although etizolam is not one of them.

Fortunately I don't suffer from anxiety. I do have trouble to get to sleep from time to time, so I won't be using them that much. But thanks for the heads up though. It'll probably be a little hard to keep my hands off of them once I have 'em lying around the house.

Maybe try some natural substances. I pasted the below from http://www.insomnia-connection.com/sleep-medications.html

Even though these natural insomnia remedies are not classified as drugs, they can still be a fairly potent, so use the same diligence as you would when taking a chemical drug. Lets have a look at some of the choices you have:

* Valerian

This is a plant based remedy. Valerian is noted for calming the nerves and promoting restful sleep in some people. Others say it has no effect. Valerian has been known to cause depression in those who are prone to the complaint. High doses of valerian may also cause vivid dreams and heart arrhythmia.

* Tryptophan

Tryptophan occurs naturally in the body and is an amino acid. Its main function is to manufacture serotonin, (a neurotransmitter) in the brain which helps promote better sleep. Serotonin is a precursor of melatonin, so necessary for healthy sleep patterns. Tryptophan is available in supplements (animal based or synthetic) or by consuming protein and dairy products. Turkey meat is an excellent source, as is milk and bananas.

* Chamomile

A relaxing and calming herb it can cause allergic reactions in some people. Don't take chamomile if you are pregnant.

* Milk and other diet related substances

I've included milk because of its double benefits. It contains tryptophan (see above) and also calcium, a mineral with calming properties which is also great for bones. Drink a glass before bed if your digestion can tolerate it, a teaspoon of honey helps the tryptophan to absorb better.

A lack of iron or magnesium in the diet can also have an effect on our sleep. One of the best sources of iron is red meat particularly beef. Iron can also be found in eggs, sardines and green vegetables.
Magnesium sources are soy products, nuts, yeast, brown rice, bananas and corn.

* Melatonin

There is quite a lot of research being done on this product. Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pineal gland. It has a considerable effect on our sleep patterns and a low level of melatonin can cause sleeplessness.

Levels of this hormone decline with age and the elderly can benefit with supplements of melatonin. It is not the absolute answer to insomnia, some people don't benefit from it and there can be side effects with higher doses.
These include daytime drowsiness, nightmares and headaches.

The main problem with melatonin is knowing how much to take. Also the effects of the hormone are not known in the long term. However as a sleep remedy for the elderly, those trying to withdraw from the hypnotic sleep medications and those whose sleep pattern has been severely disrupted, it can be a very useful aid. More information about melatonin will hopefully be available in the near future.

A better and much safer option can be found in the combination of certain safe herbal substances such as . There is a product called Serenite Plus, a very effective and safe sleep medication which will not cause daytime drowsiness or any other side effects often found with the stronger sleep medicines.

Serenite Plus has now been launched and has already been tested by us. It has proven even more effective than the original and we highly recommend it. SerenitePlus the safe and effective herbal remedy

"I have tried many natural products to try and help me to sleep. None of them has helped me like SerenitePlus." Kay F., Canada

Many people have asked us for a natural remedy for long term (chronic) insomnia. Well until recently there was really nothing we could truthfully recommend, other than a combination of products.

All that has changed however with the launch of Serenite-LT. Serenite-LT combines selected herbs and sleep facilitating nutrients in an effective formula which will help you to solve your sleep problems permanently.

I hope this is helpful.
