Opioids A few subutex questions...

Ive been getting Subutex 8mg pills from a friend of mine recently and had a few questions regarding the best method of administration for absorption ect. I have little to no tolerance to opiates except for when i get the Subutex so when the subs first came around a few weeks back i bought one and took a 1mg line at most and i was nodding for 5-6 hours and had noticeable effects until the next day. I have went through about only 6-7 pills in the past few weeks and i know tolerance is a factor but now i feel that when i do a nice line (1.5mg) i get the nod for maybe an hr or two then i spend the rest of the pill trying to chase the initial feeling. Im mainly on here to ask if i should maybe instead of snorting the sub i could do it crushed up sub-lingualy under the tongue and i was hoping since I never really took it orally than the change in administration will help enhance the more desired effects for a longer duration. I know the bio-availability for snorting it is higher but from my experiences and what ive heard instead of snorting for example a a mg of Subutex,i could take 2mg sub lingual and it will essentially feel like the same thing as a 1mg snort but it lasts like ten times longer. Also, is it best to eat something while taking it? Should i have breakfast before taking a dose or is it ok to eat on an empty stomach? If anyone has any suggestions or feed back id greatly appreciate it!

Taking it sublingually is going to be weaker than snorting it. Personally I take it in a nasal mist (I crush up the pills mix it with water, filter, and put it in a little nose spray bottle works great) I know some ppl say sublingually lasts longer but in my experience ROAs with a higher BA last longer.

I think its due to the high doses you have been doing for a little while now you say you have snorted on average about 4mgs a day? That's about 6-8mgs sublingual a day which would build up fairly rapidly in the body until you reach a point where you cannot feel it anymore. High doses if taken consecutively for a few days will begin to carry over into the next day due to the long half life but then you don't feel the rush from them because you have a constant level of buprenorphine in your serum meaning you don't get the highs and lows of the drug your body simply gets used to having this constant level of bupe flowing through it. Its okay to take high doses throughout the day then leave it for a few weeks because when you do it again in a fee weeks the old bupe you did will have left your body already. But if taking it daily or even every other day then you will notice it will overlap and hit will build up in your blood until you can't feel a thing when you dose you have to wait a few days till your serum levels drop some more.

But if you insist on doing it so often then you can do what I did and stick to 1-2mgs(intranasal) and under per day. What I do is take 0.5mgs (sublingual and sometimes snorted) 3-4 times a day for a total of 1.5-2mgs at most per day. This way you feel the high each day without it overlapping with the next day. Also low doses work better for euphoria and pain relief because low doses convert to Nor-Buprenorphine which is a full agonist versus un-converted buprenorphine which is only a partial agonist. When high doses are taking they are not given the chance to convert because they take up all the receptors you have available leaving no room for a conversion to happen.
Less really is more when it comes to buprenorphine.

I would try getting your tolerance back down by abstaining from using bupe for a few weeks or tapering your use until your down to a more reasonable dose such as 0.25+0.5mgs insufflated a few times a day. See how that works for you.

A change in your route of administration will not produce a stronger high because of your tolerance even if you started IVing your subutex it wouldn't male the high any greater it simply makes the bioavailability higher but it would still cause the doses to overlap with each other if you didn't use small doses.

Try to stay under 2-3mg a day to get the best effects. anything over 3mg a day is just fucking your tolerance and you wont keep that buzz up for long doing over 3mg day. You should feel extremely lucky that you get any sort of high off bupe. Keep that tolly low man your body will thank you

Welcome to Bluelight :) I responded to your post in NMI (New Member Introductions)
There's no need to use SWIM on this site. I know, a lot different than other sites, but it's how we do.

Id wait at least 24 hours to answer your question, or until you feel full wds setting in.

Wow you injected 8mgs?! That's a crazy amount to inject your going to have to wait quite a while before feeling any other opiate. If you've never done it before then 24 hours may work but its more likely to be 36-48hours with such a huge dose. Just wait till your really sick with withdrawal then take your diladid to feel better. No sense using it if your not sick. Once your sick that's when you know your opiate receptors are clearing
