a few kratom questions

ok, ive done all the reasearch on this plant that can possibly be done, and ive even found a place to get it from, but what i want to know is a)has anyone here ever tried this and b)is it actually a worthwhile endeavor to pursue.
two simple questions which id like some educated feedback on.
please don't say something stupid like "you should try looking at erowid" because ive read all that shit and plenty more.
 
yeah i've tried it a few time when i used to live in thailand.
it's fairly easy to find in thailand's rural areas, but i seriously doubt you will be able to find some in the US or Europe.
kratom is o.k. i wouldn't go out of my way to get it, so unless you live in south east asia, forget about it.
