** (a few) FORUM GUIDELINES**

just real quick - a few things i've noticed that we might wanna clear up here...

• in the words forum - if you post something you did not write (such as if you copied it out of a book, magazine, song lyric, forwarded e-mail, etc...) give credit to who wrote it or where you got it, at least. just dont take credit for other's work, please.
• secondly - NO ASS-RAPING posts in this forum, mmm'kay? especially if it is someone's own work, its VERY disrespectful. critical criticism is fine, but no pure ass-raping.
• do not ask people to read your work (such as put *read me* or 'read and reply!', etc, in the topic of your thread)... if one wants to read your work, they will. many times people read the threads but dont reply because they dont really know how to reply or they just dont want to reply. its their call, and lets not badger people into reading our stuff
• this guideline was made by cherub a while ago - when you post new threads - please limit it to about three (3) new threads at a time... no one wants to open up the first page of the Words forum and have it all be poems by one person. lets share our space with others

that's what I'd like to know... what exactly does constitute as 'assraping'? I mean, christ, what makes you the judge of what can and cannot be said anyway? sure sure, you're a moderator, but you're not our mother now are you. well, I don't listen to my mother either... but that's besides the point... instead of deleting posts that YOU think are inappropriate, why don't you let the people the comments are directed at decide.
