A different look at why to wear your seatbelt.

I feel naked without one. Plus I don't wanna get that stupid seatbelt fine. And yes, the cops around here give out a lot of those.

mmm seat belts are good.
i was driving with a sober driver a couple years ago and he was just a really bad irresponsible driver... driving 80 on a residential road, woman came around the corner and he swerved to avoid hitting her. car went straight into a tree, totaleld and air bags and everything.
seat belt saved my life. i had some bad burns from it and my chest hurt as well as my back hip bones, but i was totally fine. i can't even sit in a parked car without my seat belt now.

Just get in the habit of putting it on then you don't think about it. My mom made me and my sisters do this at a young age and now we all do it automatically. We even used to pester my dad when he wasn't wearing his to the point that he would wear it just to shut us up

I live in a state where seatbelts are not required and I choose not to wear one because I find it very uncomfortable. I guess it's all relative. Since they were not required when I first began driving, I never felt particularly in danger.

Some of the countries that don't require you to wear a seatbelt have roads in the main cities that are so overcrowded their really isn't any need for them as your not going to damage yourself that badly at all.

Also Some of the poorer countries where not everyone can afford a car, have to cram a family on a motorbike or a ute full of school kids in the back to get to school. If seatbelts were made illegal alot of these kids would be walking hours to get to school and would be very impractible
