Yea I was wondering does it mean you have A.D.D. if adderall makes you concentrate and get work done? A lot of my friends take it for the speedy effect but when I take it, it makes me want to pay attention and get things done. Could this mean i have A.D.D.? thnx.

Well that might mean you have ADD, but even people with ADD people get speedy effects the first few times, so I'm not quite sure. Some people who don't have ADD are able to concentrate on Adderall as well. I suggest taking a test like this http://www.amenclinic.com/ac/addtests/default.asp, and also this might help. http://www.psychologynet.org/add.html It is the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders - Fourth Edition. Just go see if you suffer from any of the symptoms.

Plenty of people (who are normal and don't have ADD), find that speed/meth/adderal/dexedrine makes them more productive and results in them cleaning/organizing/doing work. This is very common reaction to an amphetamine...it does not mean that you have ADD. You only have ADD if you have particular trouble concentrating normally. The way a drug affects you is not generally how you diagnose a disorder...

^^^ Actually I've been kind of surprised at how often it seems to be.
But like fairnymph said, nearly everyone can concentrate better and be more productive on stimulants, so no, it doesn't mean you have ADD.
