The Caterpillar crawls
And feeds off of leaves
When I try to hold her
She squirms and she heaves

Will she continue to feed
Until there's no more room
Will she put down her leaves
And form her coccoon

Now she's warm and safe
She can finally sigh
For if she patiently waits
She will grow wings and fly

Now she flies high above
And ignores all the leaves
Seeking her caterpillar love
Amongst all the trees

She can't find him there
The butterfly becomes blue
But to her delightful surprise
Her love is now a butterfly too

This reminds me of my favorite childs book (it is made more for an adult) "Hope for the Flowers"

I will be a beautiful butterfly some day too!!

I like it!!!

my girlfriend is currently at Narconon Arrowhead in Oklahoma being treated for heroin addiction... she's in her cocoon... nobody believes in us, but when she comes back love will conquer all.

I feel for u...and all I can really say is good luck...
I lived that life to long....and all I can say is have hope but do not have faith.....addiction feeds from faith....

Still a wonderful piece.....
Good luck and u will need plenty of hugs!!!
