Ketamike
Bluelighter
The Caterpillar crawls
And feeds off of leaves
When I try to hold her
She squirms and she heaves
Will she continue to feed
Until there's no more room
Will she put down her leaves
And form her coccoon
Now she's warm and safe
She can finally sigh
For if she patiently waits
She will grow wings and fly
Now she flies high above
And ignores all the leaves
Seeking her caterpillar love
Amongst all the trees
She can't find him there
The butterfly becomes blue
But to her delightful surprise
Her love is now a butterfly too
And feeds off of leaves
When I try to hold her
She squirms and she heaves
Will she continue to feed
Until there's no more room
Will she put down her leaves
And form her coccoon
Now she's warm and safe
She can finally sigh
For if she patiently waits
She will grow wings and fly
Now she flies high above
And ignores all the leaves
Seeking her caterpillar love
Amongst all the trees
She can't find him there
The butterfly becomes blue
But to her delightful surprise
Her love is now a butterfly too
