Musician and Producer/DJ Dunes aka Jordan Welner began crafting his distinct brand of thoughtful yet club-friendly dance music shortly before moving to Brooklyn, NY in summer of 2011. Since then, he has released original tunes on Brooklyn’s Trouble & Bass, Astro Nautico, Freshmore Records and Symbols Recordings. Aside from his own productions, Dunes founded Brooklyn’s well-respected monthly House/Bass/Ghetto party Broke City where he, Sleepyhead and Figgy act as monthly resident DJs every 3rd Friday at Bizarre, Bushwick. Look for Dunes’ “Look at the Sky” EP due this August on Party Guy Records as well as a handful of remixes and singles including releases via his own crew's Broke City Summer Collection dropping later this summer.
