Trigger Warning 8 months sober until yesterday - sex addiction triggered it - how do you treat sex addiction?

So like it says I’ve been clean and just living life so haven’t been on much. not exactly ideal to the changes I want to make to talk about drugs a lot. Love it here tho.

Well I was clean 8 months and then yesterday I got the strongest sexual craving and I gave in. My addiction to stims IS a sex addiction. I only take them to fulfill desire.

What are some ways that you can manage erotic feelings without acting on them when they get too strong? Idk. More sex? See it’s a twisted circle. I think maybe I just need a girl who’s good in bed and then maybe I won’t have this problem

Did you relapse on stims which then led you to do some sexual things you’re not proud of, or was it purely a sex relapse?

Sorry if that’s a silly question, just trying to understand.

Writing a story can help alleviate such desires, it puts it in it's place for storage, to make a deal out of something, strong feelings leads to powerful storytelling.
