750mg of Vicodin, how much Hydrocodone is in it? and Q on CWE

I'm no expert, but I would guess it's the hydrocodone causing the nausea, not the acetaminophen (tylenol).

I just recently tried these for my first time too. I had 5mg hydro/500mg APAP. First time I took 2, second time 3. So 10mg then 15mg. I didn't get at all nauseous either time, and my stomach is sometimes easy to upset. I'd say take no less than 15mg if you want to feel good. If I get some more I'll probably try to take more in the 20-25mg range. You might be moving too much and the dizzyness is making you nauseous. Just relax

so whats making me get so nauseous then? I thought it was the tylenol in there that made me feel like that. I was assuming the CWE would take away the tylenol, thus making me less nauseous. My goal is to try and find out how many pills I can use in a CWE to feel the good stuff and not the bad stuff.

If it is the hydrocodone itself that is making me nauseous then should I take some Benadryl or some sort of anti histamine?

I apologize for my post above. Saying that CWE is not necessary for a couple hydros with 750 mgs acet. haha I recently just ran in to the same problem with nausea. I know that the nausea is coming from the apap because I had been taking 30-60 mg hydro a day and had no problem with nausea. However, whenever I was taken off of those and put on darvocet (doc wanting to ween me off), I couldn't take more than 1 pill at a time without getting nauseous (they were the 100/650s). So I now am of the opinion that CWE must be performed for some sensitive individuals on anything over a gram of apap.

The codiene is what could be causing the nausea...i have a friend who gets sick every time she takes anything with codiene in it, and she's done tons of opiates and other stuff. I can't take too much at one time or I get sick as well, but in lower amounts I'm good.

Hello guys, just like the title says, how much hydrocodone is in a 750mg pill of vicodin?

I've been looking into trying a cold water extraction to feel more of the high without taking so much of the acetaminophen. Right now, I get an "okay" high off the 750mg but if I try to take more with it (like a 750 plus another half pill), or redose a few hours later, I get nautious. How many pills should I use to do a CWE for my situation?

Sounds like the Vicoden ES tablets. Regular vicoden has 500mg of tylenol but vicoden ES has the 750 of tylenol with 7.5mg hydrocodone. If you are a regular hydrocodone user, you will be much safer on your liver if you try and get the brand called Norco. Even up to the 10mg hydro tablets, it still has only 325mg tylenol. I saw one reader who stated up to 4,000mg of tylenol is okay, but do not mess around with doses that high. Tylenol is extremely toxic to your liver and if you use with alcohol, you are looking down the road at liver failure eventually. Please, everybody out there if your drug of choice is hydrocodone, try to get the Norco brand, which has only 325mg tylenol. Mr. Moderator, pls understand that I am not advocating using, but that if they are going to do so, at least use the one least likely to cause liver damage. It is the only one you got, and if you destroy it with alcohol and tylenol abuse, you are unlikely to be a candidate for transplant. Pls, pls be cautious when using these opiates containing tylenol. "Ye must be born again."

You don't need to CWE a couple of 7.5/750s. I don't want to give you any possibly harmful advice, but you should definitely not have any problems with tylenol if your only taking a couple at a time.

Cold water extraction does not increase the nod of a hydrocodone experience. All it does is enable you to take larger doses of hydrocodone while sparing your liver the large amounts of tylenol.

If you are talking about 750mg of APAP, it's prop got 7.5 mg of Hydro. That's a common dose given, which SUCKS because all the tylenol in it.
