I just started Lyrica back up, not sure if Vicodin the doctor prescribe me is okay.
They always say it's okay, then I see a severe reaction. This one is moderate, but I took the Lyrica around 2:30pm this afternoon.

Is it safe to take the Vicodin?

yes at those dosages you are totally safe to use both medications. I am a pharmacy tech at a major chain so I know a thing or 2. 75mg of lyrica is a low dose and it's not a very strong depressant like a benzo would be. 7.5mg of hydrocodone is a fairly low dose as well. As long as you are not allergic to either one you will be totally fine. Just wait for the meds to kick in before you start driving a car to make sure you are not too disoriented.

I just started, I am expected to take the Lyrica 75mg twice a day, then after a week 150 x2.
Will that be safe, with oxycodone, tramadol? Would that combination lyrica+ tramadol, lyrica + vicodin, lyrica+oxycodone also be safe with Lyrica?
not all at once, just curious.

Just curious. Thanks man.

1 5-10mg dose of hydro/oxycoodone with the lyrica doses will be fine but 1 or the other opiate not both. Tramadol is a much weaker opiate so it's for sure ok as well. Any single dose of any opiate with the lyrica will be ok. 1 15-30mg dose of morphine ir, 5-10mg methadone, 2-4mg dilaudid, 15-60 mg codeine, 50-100mg tapentadol (new tramadol type opiate but stronger and in schedule 2 controlled substances). Basically any single dose opiate with your lyrica will not cause a sever interaction in the large majority of the population. I mean you could be a rare case where it has a bad reaction there always is that tiny risk, nothing is 100%.

As for moving up on the lyrica. Yes that is a normal thing. They build you up to your proper dose slowly instead of rushing you straight there. By doing this it allows your body to adjust to it and keeps the euphoria and other side effects to a minimum doing it that way. Your body will be adjusted to it so that won't change anything.
