Wow so at the very last second, the DEA decided not to place 7-OH in schedule 1 while placing MGM-15,16, and mitragynine pseudoindoxyl into schedule 1.
I don't like when any drug becomes jailable, but I am a bit confused and somewhat irritated by the inconsistency in messaging from the federal government.

I'm not personally invested, but I know that many companies either sold off their stocks of 7 at dirt cheap prices to consumers as well as other shady companies like "Buzzers" (whole thread about them as well) and also as we've seen here even on BL, consumers totally freaking out.

I'm not sure what their reasoning was, maybe it was that 7-OH does exist in the plant naturally, and that extracts and concentrates of leaf would now contain illegal amounts of 7?
Thoughts?

To anyone who was freaking out, I guess this is your lucky day. Ofc, it could still be scheduled at any moment but for now it remains federally legal.

Part of this is the companies for mixing stupid shit in there and not taking safety precautions. I meen these dumbasses seem like they want too get this shit banned by mixing sketchy shit in like F-Phenibut and tianeptine...We'll sketchy to the average drug user and pain patient most them dont know what that shit is so they get fucked up on it and take it everyday then they do something stupid and die and whole thing gets banned

No I don't. Someone on IG told me they're holding back til sept 10 though I don't think that person is well informed and is an idiot. They tried to tell me that 7 wasn't included in the original NOI, and it clear is stated right here on the DEA's website. Kratom industry full of idiots btw.

There's also already an independent act moving through congress so I do believe 7 will be scheduled at some point regardless.
