Kratom 7-OH Federally Schedule 1 as of 08-01-26

Kratom is still legal though right -- im not gunna talk synth but it isn't that long of way from point kratom to point 7 oh, am I mistaken? May keep the price low on second thought.....certainly not AS low however

Leaf/MIT has been banned in a few states already. And North Carolina has reintroduced their hemp bill that also tries to sneak kratom in. We beat it once, I'm praying we can beat it twice. I can get off the MGM15... but I've been on the MIT/leaf for 11 straight years and using off and on since 2007. That won't be pretty. Pretty scary time for people trying to treat pain and other issues without using pain clinics.
 
That is horrible. They had to sell it out of headshops and gas stations....

The kratom leaf should not be banned...ppl need something. (Hell none of it should be banned). Reminds me of when poppy pods went, when the price jumped like triple on ebay I knew it was coming but oh man alot of ppl got screwed out of a SEMI COMFORTABLE life with that one too
 
Anybody have any updated articles? Wasn't the rescheuling or whatever today? I was supposed to get a package today and didn't come, hope I'm not in trouble don't see why since I ordered it awhile ago.

The 7 is more unstable than regular MIT, but it's the most unstable when its hot and in acidic solution. I imagine you keep it away from air, and you keep it cold, it will last a long time.

Really, can't find anything official yet maybe this week we'll get an update. This really pisses me off, I've been sober off alcohol since Sept thanks to help from it.

I don't believe that's how it works. Once it's illegal , it's illegal. It's not like we didn't know this was coming in this case. You'd probably be able to argue in court yada yada but if the package gets seized after the date it's illegal, technically they could still kick your doors down.

The way the NOI (notice of intent) work:s

After the 30-day comment period for the RFI, OASH will provide comments submitted to the RFI public docket to the Attorney General for consideration. Once comments have been considered and at least 30 days have passed since the publication of the NOI, the Attorney General may then issue a temporary scheduling order placing 7-OH above a certain threshold in Schedule I.

It could* happen as early as July 31st as they filed the NOI on July 1st.

I doubt there's too many people arguing on behalf of 7, and the ones who are are likely shit bag companies that sell it, maybe a few doctors who think it should be schedule II.

Don't see how that would happen I ordered something before it was illegal, if they came to my door I'd just say hey I'm not accepting the package because it's now illegal. I actually didn't know about that people were trying to ban it until last few months I figure since all illegal drugs are pretty much legal here in the states anyways why would they know about it and wanna fuck with it oh well I don't need another habit anyways. What I've been reading about how the AKA are the ones who pushed for 7oh to be illegal and now they may make all of it including the leaves backfired on them.

Most of this is just wrong.

How is the postal inspector supposed to know when you made the purchase. All they see is a scheduled substance with your address on it. Again, I'm sure you could argue in court but who wants that. And of course.. don't accept the package if it's feels off at all. I wouldn't really be worried at all about your purchase. You should be fine. But technically speaking.. it's your address and an illegal substance coming to it.

The AKA are not the ones making 7. They have and have always railed against the semi-synthetics because it took away from their market share. I know some of these people on a first name basis. The AKA DOES lobby for large kratom leaf companies. When I was working at Jordan Process, the primary manufacturing site for OPMS, they were quite scared of semisynthetics as the primary owner of that company had once been charged with breaking analogue act. He had won actually but didn't want the drama/bad press.
 
I did read " early August" and August 5, but regardless, July 31 is 12 days off so plenty of time to arrive.
BUT, I'd be a little suspicious that some shady character being put out of business might decide it's good timing to take the money and split without delivering. Call me mistrusting...
