I saw there was a similar thread about this in "other drugs," but I wanted to share my experience with this junk recently. I was off kratom for four months, and started it again when I returned to Florida. I have been drinking the seltzers daily again for the past couple of weeks. I was getting tired of buying the seltzers so I went into a shop advertising "kratoms." The guy working there had this "cat's claw" extract stuff which was marketed simply as a "kratom product." I knew 7-OH was banned in Florida but I should have known better than to try this. I took half a tablet yesterday and a few hours later I vomited up everything I'd eaten and felt a strange ringing in my ears. My voice also sounded very gravely. This morning, woke up with a splitting headache and tried drinking some caffeine, vomited that up almost immediately. I think kratom can be fine in moderation although I don't recommend daily. This stuff on the other hand, is nasty. It wasn't a euphoric experience, just an unpleasant cracked out feeling and I can tell that it would cause physical dependence. Upon researching what was in it, I found it was MGM-15, a semi synthetic derivative of 7-oh. The lab gets around it by not listing the ingredient directly on the package, just calling the product "cat's claw." Seedy stuff and I don't recommend designer opioids like that, made me physically sick to say to least.
