I have a very labor intensive job that leaves me with many aches and pains, and I am also prescribed Vyvanse (50mg) for my ADHD. I tried mixing 7-OH and Vyvanse exactly one time and had an absolutely terrible experience (heart palpitations , dizziness, falling over). I do not get those side effects when I use one or the other.

Using 7-OH on weekends (when I don't take Vyvanse) so I can actually relax and not feel pain is something that I am going to do. The ability to not feel the constant pain I am in is too enticing, and I cannot stop taking Vyvanse during the week because it gets me through work and life.

So if taking them at the same time is not an option, then would anyone with similar experience be able to tell me how long you wait before taking one or the other? I can take regular Kratom leaf and Vyvanse with zero problems, but 7-OH is just so much more effective. Any feedback, advice, or tips, related or not, would be greatly appreciated. I currently wait 24 hours between doses of Vyvanse/ 7-OH before taking 7-OH/ Vyvanse, but I am not sure if this is overkill or appropriate.

The reason why your getting a negative reaction is probably because mixing "uppers" and "downers" can confuse your bodily processes like your heart because one drug is trying to make your heart quicker (Vyvanse) and the other drug (7-OH) is trying to make it beat slower, understand the logic?

I do understand that logic, and thank you far taking the time to reply.

Well I’m on 40mg Vyvance and just took 160 of the 7 so I’ll report back on if I have the same issue. First time taking the OH.

Interesting. The combination of Amphetamine and an Opioid agonist in general should not produce this kind of effect. What would be far more likely would be for an individual to report a positive feeling as the synergy of Opioids and CNS Stimulants is well-documented in medical literature. Amphetamine, as it will release Dopamine (in simple terms) can and often does produce subjective feelings of analgesia. Opioids combined with CNS stimulants are well-documented to produce a ¨sum greater than its combined parts¨ degree of analgesia. Your reports of the combination causing these results is puzzling to me.

I understand the pull of the 7-Hydroxymitragynine is strong. I have to tell you right now, this stuff has created severe dependencies in individuals at a rate that is troublingly fast. I now talk to multiple people per day who were essentially Opioid naive, who then started using Kratom, then moved to 7OH who now have life-ruining dependencies. The analgesia is transient. I have a lot of experience with Opioids. They are my specialty, if you will. I´ve been addicted to and dependent on Heroin, Methadone, Morphine, Oxycodone and I´ve spent 15 years now talking about these phenonomena with my peers like yourself.

You have a life that you wish to continue with. You feel that by treating your pain, you will then be able to live a more full and productive life. I´m telling you, if you listen to one person in this fucked up world throwing opinions at you, I would take my advice that this stuff is not your best route to pain control. I have been in your situation. Heroin is what made me able to not hate my life enough to make something of myself, but the Heroin, in the end, took much more than it ended up giving. I was able to teach Kurdish kids in Iraq, a proud time of my life. Heroin is also the reason why I abruptly never returned to the school and teachers that had become my family and friends.

Kratom is a much better choice. You need to compromise and try your best to make the lower level of pain control work for you. Are you doing everything in your power to control your pain, including exercise, stretching, NSAID´s etc? It´s incredibly common for people to find Opioids and in the hustle and bustle of life decide more Opioids are better than the extra time involved in their care.

I know I probably can´t change your mind, I just want you to take into account the fact that so many have been undone by this 7OH stuff who were in your shoes. You will hit a wall fast with this stuff and you will then be in the same circumstances as before, however, Opioid tolerance is not a temporary phenomenon. It can stretch like elastic. Like a rubber band, you can stretch it pretty far and it still seems to snap back to its original state. Once a person has become severely dependent upon Opioids, they never fully snap back to that state.

In short, we only have one true chance at using Opioids reasonably. Once you go off the rails, the Kindling Effect takes hold and you are essentially never able to use Opioids the same way as you once did. You have to use this time to your greatest advantage by using Opioids in THE SMALLEST POSSIBLE DOSAGES AND THE LOWEST FREQUENCY. This 7OH stuff is stronger than Oxycodone and stronger than Morphine. The people selling it are taking advantage of the relatively safe image that Kratom has.

I highly recommend using Kratom and taking advantage of all other possible means of pain control. This doesn´t tend to end well for people.
