Hi
I'm an ADD pacient and 6 months ago have gone on a 1 month speed binge. Bought $140 worth of speed and didnt stop until it was all finished, took exactly 31 days to go through it.
Its very hard to say how much meth was in it, because it was a washing powder looking and tasting chunk, about 2.5cm big. It was the least pure stuff I've seen, but it was working. No other effect than what you'd expect meth to do.
This is the 6th month since I stopped using it. Had the chance to buy more but decided not to.
Problem is, my usual ADD pills, Ritalin, do not work anymore. I knew meth is infinitely more potent than methylphenidate, but come on. Its been 6 months and only done speed for a month.
Ritalin now hasnt got much more effect than taking an Ibuprofen pill.
If I combined it with coffee, used to get a pleasant "dopamine" feeling, (not a strong rush like meth by any means). Enough to make me focus on my job, enjoy my family and love life. Bit of euphoria if you like.
I had severe depression after quitting speed, along with very hard to beat lethargy, lack of motivation and sleepyness. Now that is gone, have more than enough energy for anything, sleep about 6-7 hours (instead of 9-10), motivation is so-so, but still find it very hard to enjoy my work or have a discussion about anything with anyone. Its not social anxiety, just extremely boring. I also dont enjoy music. I used to love it. Sometimes felt asleep with headphones on at night, and music could take me very...very far and high. Now theres very little if any joy in music.
Used buckets of L-Tyrosine and gym. Healthy food. Im in good shape, visible muscle groups, 180lbs at 5.11. Might make a decent male prostitute.
I have gone back on Ritalin the day after stopping speed. Kept to my usual dose. I knew its effects would return gradually. But 6 months...and feel maybe 10% of what it used to be like. I tripled the dosage for 2 days, no difference from a normal dose. No more euphoria.
Any advice to pick up where i left? Maybe someone has an idea how to speed up the recovery.
Thank you.
