Opioids 500ug fentanyl blotters

If blotters are advertised as having 500 micrograms of fentanyl each, is this likely to be the less potent fent-a or fent-b rather than true fentanyl? Or is it likely they contain less than the advertised amount? Don't wanna overdose and that information is vital to determining dosage as I plan to cut the blotters.

I believe he's referring to acetylfentanyl and butyrfentanyl as opposed to plain old fentanyl.

I don't think it's safe for anyone here to speculate on what the blotters may or may not contain, but personally I wouldn't touch anything unless I knew exactly what it was, especially considering how potent these fentanyl analogs are.

thanks for clearing that up. i really have only heard these being talked about when people were saying they avoid them because they don't know how potent they really are, as these are RC's, right? do people actually use these ''safely''? or are they mostly avoided?

Yes, acetylfentanyl and butyrfentanyl are considered research chemicals. My understanding is that their subjective effects and pharmacokinetics do not differ much from fentanyl, but they are both less potent. It's possible to use them safely, but you'd really need to trust your source, which sounds questionable in OP's case.

From what I've seen, both chemicals are actually kind of shunned in the RC scene because of the potentially disastrous outcome, but of course there's always someone willing to provide what people want. I certainly wouldn't mess around with either one, but I don't use opiates/opioids often. To each their own, I suppose.

Yes, these analogs are less potent than actual fentanyl. The source is reliable, but it doesn't specifically state exactly which fentanyl analog the blotters contain.
Would it be advisable to cut the blotters up into pieces assuming they contain the more potent true fentanyl, and if no effects are felt (I know about waiting for the onset before redosing etc) then maybe assume the blotters contain acetylfentanyl (a-fent)/butyrfentanyl (b-fent)?
