Adam is a 27 year old writer of radio programs and is diagnosed with a rare form of spinal cancer. With the help of his best friend, his mother, and a young therapist at the cancer center, Adam learns what and who the most important things in his life are.

Stars: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen and Anna Kendrick.

Wondering if anyone has seen it and if so what they think ?

I personally loved the movie and recommend this to anyone

I liked it. It did a really good job of blending comedy and drama. I feel like films that try to combine the two genres usually fall short. It wasn't like the first half was funny then the second half became sad or anything. Being able to make a comedy on something so serious doesn't always work out, but this movie made it work.

I may be a bit biased since I like all the stars in the movie. I don't believe I've seen a Seth Rogen movie that I haven't liked and I've enjoyed most of Joseph Gordon-Levitt's films. The only other film I've seen with Anna Kendrick was Up in the Air and I liked her in that and in this film. She's got a cute smile. This was definitely worth giving a watch. :)

The only thing I didn't like was shortly after watching it I had back pain right in the same area that his cancer was in and it made me nervous for a few days. :p

yeah i usually hate movies about cancer, but this was actually quite well done.

Thanks for the recomendation, I have a look at that movie Up In The Air :)

I really couldn't have loved this movie any more. I generally am a big fan of anything with Rogen or Gordon-Levitt and this was no exception.

^
The only movies I've seen with Joseph Gordon-Levitt that I didn't like all that much were 10 Things I Hate About You (teen comedy whatdaya expect?) and Brick. I just couldn't get into the way they talked and the slang they used in Brick. It just sounded too forced.

I watched this movie last night and really liked it, a lot. It wasn't self pitying or anything, which cancer movies usually are. It also was very... young. Movies with cancer kids are always pitying and depressing, or with old people with cancer are to glib about it. It was interesting to see someone more of my peers age deal with it.

This was a fantastic film, good laughs for the most part right through and didn't take itself or the subject too seriously. 5/5

yeah that it was pretty much bereft of all this shitty hollywood tearjerker bullshit was a really nice surprise.
