5 year old weed

I found some weed in my parents room that had been confiscated from me 5 years ago when I was 14. It was about a quarter of high mids. The weed is now very dry and definitely browner than when I had it 5 years ago. I haven't tried it yet because I've got some much better shit right now but I intend on trying it tomorrow.

Also, I know there is a risk of mold but I looked it over and it appears to be mold free.

Anyone have any experience with years old weed? How's the taste probably going to be? Potency?
 
thats your parents bag they bought last week ..hah nah im j/k ...its fine i know people that have smoke weed that was 4 years old ..im sure alot of weed that gos around is old anyway..and has been threw worse then sitting in a room for 5 years
 
i was so pissed when they took it because i had just bought it so it was like they took $50 from me. haha its nice finding it now tho because i'm really short on money and its basically free.
 
Are you serious? You actually remember a small bag of weed from 5 years ago? 8o Honestly that's amazing. My memory sucks so bad I dont remember a thing from 5 years ago, yet alone an insignificant amount of weed I got taken.

I would throw that weed out asap. Even if you inspected the outside of the buds and found no mold, that bud is going to be NASTY! I doubt your parents know how to store weed properly, and there is likely some noticable degredation.
 
it wasnt a small bag it was like a quarter of weed and this was when i didnt smoke a lot. plus besides the e pill, its the only thing they've ever confiscated from me and so it wasnt hard to remember.
 
As long as it was stored correctly (cool, dry, dark place - eg back of a drawer, corner of a room behind a bunch of crap) then the THC should still be intact. Which means, it would be good to smoke although probably pretty harsh

lol? im pretty sure im nto allowed to post prices, but suffice to say where i live in the UK getting a q for that much would be a very good find.
 
That gives me hope that all the shit my parents confiscated when i was younger is around somewhere. Like that big bag of opium poppy pods or the legal herbal highs that i experimented with when i was 15.
 
I would say now is a perfect time to try cooking with cannabis. If you have ever had any curiosities about it, now is the perfect time to try. If you smoke that weed it will probably be super harsh on your throat. You should try making some brownies, firecrackers, or even just some cannabutter! You can find threads about these things all over this site

Echo_419, stop being a bitch. You don't get $50 for a half oz and you know it. What is it with idiot pot heads bragging about how cheap they (don't) get bags for? Shit is like a disease here (and especially on grasscity.com)
