I have been looking into this today but the reports seem a mixed bag & the erowid link above sounds like hell.

I did a search on here with little results sadly.

Anyone have any good reports with this substance?.....if so please advise on dose/effect/time line of effects etc.

to me it sounds like a chemical with amazing effects but also sounds like it has an extreme darkside to it
 
there's plenty of info on it here, there's even some big and dandy threads dedicated to it.

Basically, it doesn't do much. It gets mixed reviews from everyone. I've heard vaporizing it may be effective. What amazing effects have you heard about this? I've never heard anything amazing about it, IMO it is the worst psychedelic i've ever tried.

dose: 30mg - 70mg
effect: feel strange but can't explain it
time line: come up fast (30 minutes), peak fast (30 minutes), over in 2 hours or so.

I have heard of a ketamine type state of LSD type visual effects & a "let your ego go" feeling

can you link me the big & dandy threads as I may be an idiot but cant find them :/

I've also heard amazng things about this stuff, proper out of your head, euphoric rushes into the ultra-world, it's said. Short acting, must be vaped in large doses, possibly as much as 50 or 100mg per hit or two. If I'm correct remembering, it burns okay off foil & I understand the effects are descibed as a cross between DMT & crack Lmao I tried 5 or so mg with herb & I was like blerrrgh! Tasted shit, felt shit, fuck that. I've never been interested in smoked chemicals anyway. Take my 50/100mg doses as hearsay, I have no experience at this level & don't intend any. YMMY!

Compound was destroyed safely.

I'm with whoever above reckoned this the worst Psychedelic ever synthesised Hahaha

Each to their own.

Big and dandy 1 & Big and dandy 2

This stuff does bollocks all for me until I hit a certain dosage - and then it's heart pumping, sweaty dysphoria. Psychedelic, maybe. Enjoyable? Fuck no. Others have had better results though, I'm not denying their experience, but I don't think I've ever had a worse drug experience than my last vaped dose of this, which was around 30mg. Orally I got zero effect from 90mg, and when I tried 120mg it took nearly four hours to take effect - when it did I felt awful and I managed to crawl into bed and basically passed out. Unpredictable is not the word...

I've tried eating it, smoking it and snorting it, I really wanted it to work but it did fuck all for me, at every dose and every ROA. A few hours after ingesting and going to sleep I woke up with the fasting racing heart I've ever had, sweating like a bitch and having abdominal/chest spasms, seriously thought I was going to die. Worst drug ever.
 
When I took ~40mg I found it enjoyable. Pretty subtle and almost no chance for Personal or Spiritual growth , but I still found it enjoyable. Just one of those things you shouldn't use if your looking to trip, more if you want to add a little flavor to your day for a few hours or you want to make your weed high a little more interesting.
 
I like it a lot. It starts getting very visual around 75mg orally. Around 25mg is like a minor MDMA come up sorta feeling. Very hard to describe. My friends didn't really like it. I've only snorted it once and I was already on an oral dose. It was like painless MDMA when it went up, made me feel lighter everywhere but was short lived. I've smoked around 25mg just ontop of some ash and have had huge results just from that. Psychedelic crack is right. Overall it's cheap and fun once you get used to the body buzz.
 
Yep, check out the Big and Dandy threads, lots of reports.

Personally, it wasn't my cup of tea. 30mg. Up within an hour, reached a peak and then went straight back down. Never levelled out. Body load on the way up was unpleasant. Also had an upset stomach, rapid heart beat and a little trouble breathing (only very, very minor). A trippy mind space was present and there were certainly some hints at visuals. Stronger doses might lead to different results. Just didn't really enjoy the body load and to put things into perspective, I love the body load on MDxx

When threads parallel to the Big & Dandy Thread like this are created to ask about experiences: for that you can visit the trip reports section and do a search, check Erowid reports, check other drug forums and do a search on '5-MeO-DALT experiences', and read those.

We don't encourage the short summary version of doing your homework because there is a reason for doing it thoroughly.
 
I recently brought some 5-MeO-DALT and I love it. I have tried it once and only took 10mg on a Saturday morning after trying 0.5mg of 25C-NBOMe the night before and it was a lovely pick me up in the morning!!

With 5-MeO-DALT I was looking for a nice tryptamine as a sort of replacement for Methylone (I fucking love methylone, probably more than MDMA) and so for what I was looking for its great.

The reason I believe there is such a mixed bag with 5-MeO-DALT is that people are expecting a substance that will be strong like DMT, which is it not...not even close.

I would def recomment and I will be getting some more! Cant wait to mix it with 2Cs too!
