Apologies if this is in the wrong section.

Am looking for some info on this drug, I posted about it in EADD and was told it was probably 5-Methyl-MDA.

The guy I spoke to also has plans for 2-Methyl-MDA and 6-Methyl-MDA.

I don't have great chemistry knowledge but though I may get a better response posting it in ADD.

If the guy has plans for 6ME-MDA then I think he is somehow wrong.... because, AFAIK that drug is no active, at least no in a notable dosage or with no trespassing some risk -those which are derived from a high dosage use, toxicity enhanced or something alike- and seems not to be interesting enough (repeat, AFAIK and I just know that I don't know almost anything....).

That chemical is, if I'm not too wrong, a 5-desoxy-MMDA (yeah, it's written as I think it is, not MDMA).
It's a pitty that MMDA it's forbidden just for it's resemblance with the name of MDMA!!! But it is...so.

rumour is that that 6-meMDA can be made from 2-methylMDA by stirring and vigorous shaking in air.

2-me-MDA and 6-me-MDA are different compounds.

2-me = 2-methyl-3,4-methylenedioxy
6-me = 2-methyl-4,5-methylenedioxy

2-me is active, 6-me is not.
 
Ah I see pihkal nomenclature has fallen over, traditionally MDA is 34MD AMP .

I should read the question properly
