Some RC vendors have started selling this chemical and I was wondering if anyone has tried it? I can't find any reports :(

I'm also curious about this one. I was just about to make a thread on it. I know of a few people that sampled it and said there were very positive results at about 100 mg. I assume it's just as powerful as 5-MAPB. The reports on 5-APDB weren't particularly thrilling IMO, there were a lot reports of sedation. I really hope this one is more promising. Some more info on this would definitely be handy

This is like a wierd cross between 5-APB, pMMA, and MDMA. Expect typical MDxx type effects, I guess.
That was my guess to, so I originally posted it in "MDMA & Empathogenic Drugs"

My main question is is it mostly a SRA like 5-APDB or is it closer tho the other 5/6-(M)AP(D)B chemicals. But so far I've seen no trip reports :(

I swear I saw this in the random molecules thread a while back, am I wrong?
Probably not, may even have been my drawing :)

The difference now is that it's available from some RC vendors while a few months ago it was just theoretical.

We need some more reviews to get a consensus on this one. There are scant few and they seem fairly contradictory. It could be that the poster on reddit was sold something else, also the fact he says 5-apdb and 6-apdb are just alike doesn't jive with the reports that say 6-apdb is substantially superior.

It should be, by mass, less potent than the aromatic benzofuran counterpart.

i had some of this - i kept trying doses around 20mg with no effect, used the last at 200mg and had a mild result

Quoting my post from another forum:

I tried doses up to 80mg insufflated. Resembled MDMA, not so much dopamine though, felt strong body euphoria, but not as motivated. 50-60mg was where the fun part began. But it's weird, that people are getting so different effects. It outbeats 4-CMC, Mexedrone and 2-A1MP by far. I remember 5-MAPB being a bit better though, but the latter is now unfortunately banned. I'm definitely going to reorder 5-MAPDB.

the N-demethylated homologue of this one was in that old Nichols' paper on benzofurans, and its binding profile was that of a mostly serotonin releasing agent, with not much affinity for the catecholamine transporters IIRC

from this of course one would expect a mongier-than-MDMA high, much like with the other 5- benzofurans, and this seems to only be confirmed by the anedoctal reports so far

what is it that the 6- benzofurans don't show up already? that's where the money's at imo... in theory they should be the very MDMA-like on their own. in practice, everyone loved 6-APB

If you look inside that Nichols' paper on benzofuran analogues, it may be a matter of more straight-forward and much cheaper synthesis of 5-subst. benzofurans. I suppose that's why 6-MAPB & 6-MAPDB are rare if real at all.

yes, i've heard that. i wasn't actually really looking for an answer, more like expressing my discontempt. all these 5- benzofurans are very teasing.

is it even remotely possible that the bonds in this are subject to decay in stomach acid? that it's just not orally active?

Nope, amphetamines are generally stable as hell. MDMA would actually be predicted to be unstable if 5-MAPDB was somehow unstable too.

Granted this refers to chemical reaction conditions, MDMA and the other MDs are much LESS stable than other ring substitutions, the methylenedioxy ring is somewhat sensitive little fella.
