Male, 50 yrs old,weight 80 kgs. Five years IV amphetamine use,ending about ten years ago. One years (mild) Heroin addiction ending two years ago-no maintenance.
Since then I have limited myself to occasional use of RC's(well,ok, about once a week!).Didn't really rate 4-MMC, hated bk-MBDB,enjoyed MDPV, loved Methylone-especially IV. And I suppose that's the point- I know I still have a raging needle fixation and I give in to my worst impulses more often than I should, but I'm only (barely?) human.
Of the new generation of RC's 5iai is the one I've been waiting for after trying most of the others currently available in the UK- all of which I decided were crap- and I finally managed to source what I believe to be the genuine article. Having some experience of MDAI and 2AI I feel that with all these aminoindanes the best ROA is IV.It's certainly the most bang per buck as far as MDAI is concerned.
And to be honest, there's an element of self-justification here,too! Dammit, I like shooting chemicals.
T - 2 days: oral allergy test, 5mgs on tip of tongue- repulsive burning metal and rubber taste that seems to be common to most halogenated compounds, slight numbing, but no adverse effects.
T-15 mins: thinking about size of dose- vendor states active from 100 mgs, others have said more like 250 mgs, have even seen one report saying may not give full effects below1/2 gm. I know it doesn't sound cautious, but it is for me; decided to go with 100 mgs.
T-5 mins
repare 1ml syringe- the compound dissolves readily enough with heating but displays a tendency to resolidify in the spoon-damn, hope this isn't going to have to be a "hotshot". Thankfully more water keeps the compund in solution better.
Ground Zero- inject easily into brachial vein.
T+5 secs: oh hell, this is another bloody inert RC...
T+10 secs(approx) OH- no, it is active! EXPLOSION ALL CENTRES!Over whelming sense of fuzz in the head, warmth in the groin. Sincerely hope I haven't pissed myself...
T+5mins: it's easing now-that was not really terribly pleasant. Anyone looking for an MDMA substitute is going to be disappointed. I know 5IAI is supposed to fully substitute in rats,but you can't take their word for it- just look what happened with Thalidomide.
T+10 mins: subsided to a state of "hypnotic blankness"-that's the only way I can describe it. No desire to talk, or interact socially. In fact, slight difficulty forming sentences. Motor skills do not seem impaired and I make a stab at doing the washing up..
T+30 mins: no real change in effects- really nothing very interesting going on, decide to watch TV in company- still no urge to talk, feeling of "druggedness"-can't put it any better than that. Thinking this really has little to offer in terms of recreational value.
T+ 2hrs: around 11.30pm, most effects have gone-actually feel tired and a bit washed-out now.
T+ 3 hrs: sleep comes easily,no residual stimulation.
T+ 11 hrs: wake up after solid refreshing sleep, feel fine, no trace of a hangover. Make pot of good German coffee, roll my Sunday Joint, settle back to indulge myself with the omnibus edition of DS9.
Conclusion: MEH. What's all the fuss about? Considering that this has been one of the most-hyped of the new RC's I think alot of people are in for a major let-down.
