40mg 4-HO-MET Experience

Experiences: 4-HO-MiPT (10mg, was not a postive experience but was in a bad headspace), 5-MeO-MiPT, MAL, 4-HO-MET (at lower doses)
I had done 4-HO-MET the prior day at 20mg and was expecting some tolerence to have build up but at the same time wanted to push the experience farther this time. Ironically the most profound and eye opening experience I have ever felt was at 12mg entering a zen like one-ness with everything which has not yet been reproduced.

So with 3 friends this time I took a dose of 40mg up the nose which I find removes any chance of stomach discomfort, while my other friend took 20mg, and the other 5-MeO-MiPT as he failed to respond to 4-HO-MET (and later to 5-MeO-MiPT even at 15mg) . This individual smokes a massive amount of marijuana he is prescribed and says he has a very high tolerance to everthing so who knows?
Things seemed to be taking a while to kick in for anyone. We sat around and apparently the hard headed fellow was feeling exceedingly tired due to lack of sleep and his girlfriend was going to bring him home. I tried to explain that this was a bad idea but they weren't hearing it and I was beginning to become distracted.

I was sitting alone in a semicircle of wooden chairs facing a fountain and began to feel the familiar wave of joy washing over me. I began to giggle and stare at the a rock formation that that a river of brown and green began to trickle through.
Within some unknown time frame things began to escalate. I stared down at my arms and could see green veins running through them. The next thing I knew they were covered in intricate multicolored tribal patterns. These led up to the back of my hand to skull bathed in flames with a scroll beneath it with some type of Roman numerals or symbols half obscured by flames. I stared at it for what seemed like only a few minutes. I then gazed up at the fence across from me and saw the middle bow outwards toward.

Its at this point I should state that I've never seen visuals quite like this from any compound. 4-HO-MET usually only produce pattern overlays and text floating apart and visual of that nature. Closing my eyes produced and explosive collide-scopic view of the inside of a chapel with massive arches, filled with crosses being produced infinitely from within one another. Then came a transition to some of the strange symbols I had seem earlier on my arm flowing through of ever changing triangles.

What came next was astounding. A black hole roughly four feet in diameter opened up before me which I stared down into. Nothing but pitch black. I closed my eyes and willed it away and when I opened my eyes it had vanished. I then turned my head to look at the overall yard and saw one of the most beautiful sites I have ever seen.

The grass seemed to be over a foot tall (freshly mowed haha) and was glistening with various shades of green, orange, and purple. The sky was a deep violet. For a brief moment I was on an alien world. All the objects from prior to the experience were still there but I was in a completely different environment. I stared in wonder for quite a while and then things eventually began to fade back to normal. I had lingering visuals for HOURS afterwards which kind of takes away from the convenient normal trip length for tryptamines but they eventually subsided with some help from benzos. Overall a wonderful and magical experience. Pushing it any farther my start getting into the complete loss of reality territory.

Sounds great, thanks for sharing. :) 4-HO-MET is also one of the first psychedelics I ever experienced really strong visuals like that on. Now they actually come to me relatively easily on most things, but 4-HO-MET still stands out as being noticeably more visual than the rest of them in certain ways.

Interestingly, I also find that effects like feelings of dissociation and ego loss are inconsistent on 4-HO-MET. I went almost out-of-body once and then all the way the next time both on 20 mg, and I had a confusing mind trip on 35 mg, and yet at 25 mg and 50 mg I was totally clearheaded and in-body. Very versatile if a little unpredictable.

Fortunately I have never experienced that confusions. There was what I considered to be ego loss one time but the numerous other times I was relatively clear headed. One time I attempted to use it therapeutically to great success as well, keeping my eyes shut the entire time and exploring the sources of anxiety in my life. Maybe it was an interaction with something else or something going on with your body at the time?

It's possible, but it didn't feel like a strange interaction. The head trip it caused me was pretty much generally identical to that caused by other psychedelics, and particularly close to LSD. I actually really enjoyed that level of it, it was more satisfyingly emotional and hallucinogenic than 50 mg, though the thought tangents it caused still seemed a little more random and less deep than other comparable psychedelics. I do very much like it at clearheaded levels though too, and at 50 mg I did get a lot of introspective therapeutic work done as well.
