4-ho-mipt and tremors

This is actually a 2 part question:

1) I'm feeling like doing some experiments with 4-ho-mipt, I read through a few B&D pages although it didnt answer my questions really, and the one thing that bothers me about this substance is that I keep seeing "tremors" being listed as one of the side-effects. I've caught people saying stuff like that it mostly applies to the 4-ho-dipt (or aco) analog, but I pretty much wanna make sure cuz I might be more prone to seizures than most people (cutting back a bit on klonopin, so I dont want to take any risks, but obviously I would only trip when I feel completely stable)

2) I've been reading up on dosage and its extremely confusing. I was told 15mg was a good starting dose but in TiHKAL shulgin says "20mg is stronger than 50mg of psilocin" (I find 14mg of 4-AcO-DMT to be right around perfect), whats a good safe but not too slow place to start? I'm thinking of an oral 12mg or so..? I hear the dose/response curve is very steep for this substance

EDIT: I've experienced some mild shakiness coming up on lsd, 2ce (especially), and I believe a bit on 4-AcO-DMT (least of all). I've had one or two acid trips where I would have little spasms, like an involuntary hand movement or something, as far as I know getting this a little bit is normal

Ive never exerienced tremors with 4-ho mipt.

1) Like you said, that tends to be more of a problem with 4 aco dipt (4 ho dipt never bothered me either but i know others have reported some tremors with it.)

2) The doses in tihkal are for the hcl salt i believe.
What you have is most likely the fumurate which is slightly less potent by weight.

Im going to disagree with shulgin on 20mg of miprocin being strongr than 50mg of psilocin.
20mg of hcl was equivalent to 3.5g of mushrooms in intensity IME.
And stronger than 20mg of 4 aco dmt. Perhaps more like 26mg.

Starting low and working your way up is never a bad idea.
I think 12mg may be underwhelming, but better safe than sorry.

i have experienced mild tremors on almost every psych including 4-ho-mipt.

Yeah, I shake weirdly on iprocin and DPT, most other tryptamines act as muscle relaxants for me (in a strange semi-catatonia-inducing way)....DMT often causes involuntary movements...but, on topc, 4-Ho-MiPT (in my brief sample) caused a very similar effect. Its not like nervous shaking like one may get with stimulants or some opiates; it reminds me of the shaking one may get when blood sugar is low.

I almost always get leg tremors on 4-ho-mipt, but they don't bother me at all. They don't feel toxic. Rather, they feel like the perfectly logical consequence of channeling massive amounts of god-energy through the body.

I also always feel healed and rejuvenated the next day! <3 Miprocin :)

^Are they the tremors one gets when holding a limb/body-part tense for a while? On most psychedelics, I fnd that if I stand on my tip-toes, my legs MUST quiver in between standing and jumping.

And yes- God-Power. I like that :) <3

Kind of like that, but without the tension, and maybe a little more dramatic. It's as if all this higher-dimensional energy is being channeled down through my legs and into the earth, completely inundating & overwhelming the nerve circuits and causing the legs to twitch or 'glitch'. :)

I've actually come to quite like it ;)

4aco mipt

I'm referring to 4-ho-mipt but having never tried the acetoxy sub, I dont even know if there's any difference in terms of effects, and that stuff is debated all the time in the B&D thread. I guess what I really wanna know as of now is this:

1) does this substance cause tremors MORE than something like 2ce, 4-aco-dmt, and lsd?
Are they prominent? Uncomfortable? Do they persist throughout the whole trip? Is it dangerous to take this substance if you're afraid of seizures (keeping in mind that stuff like 2c/4-aco-dmt doesnt bother me)

2) Right now SWIM is storing their 4-ho-mipt powder in a cool, dry place, but it is not being frozen (it is the fumurate salt)... whats the shelf life like, and how can you tell if it has degraded? Does it NEED to be frozen with desiccant surrounding it and all that? What about 4-aco-DMT?

Thanks! :)

With roughly 20mg I had very minor leg tremors that only lasted for a minute or less at peak. I agree with the (Doesn't feel toxic) above comment.

When I was tapering off clonazepam, I would get a bit shaky at times when I'd use cannabinoids or psychedelics. I tremble occasionally already, but it certainly got worse for a period of time. It was really only during the most intense part of the withdrawal, when I had cut down to a very low dose and was skipping days in between, that I really had any issues. Even then, they weren't horrible, but there were certainly a few occasions where I was high / tripping and trembling pretty intensely.
