Didn't shulgin write in TIHKAL that you could take tryptamine along with an amino acid called methionine and that your body would metabolize the tryptamine to methylated tryptamines? What about taking the 4-desmethyl mescaline analogue with it? Has anyone tried this or knows what would happen, that is if u managed to get the caffeine and shit out of it?

No it doesn't, for all the reasons mentioned.

There's a huge difference between a products that are specifically controlled and approved by federal law, which contain scheduled drugs in the ppm to ppb range and those that contain scheduled drugs (since desmethylmescaline is treated as a scheduled drug when meant for human consumption) in potentially active concentrations. There's no doubt that ghb and diazepam concentration is tens to hundreds of times lower than an active dose, but desmethylmescaline and the other analogues are definitely in usuable quantities (it wouldn't be hard to get a useful quantity if you were to steal the things, a not uncommon tactic).

^I do not believe the analog act mentions anything about a specific concentration defined as PPM's so the point is still valid.

Why don't they start allowing hits of acid with only 30 mics? After all the concentration of LSD on those fancy decorative blotter papers is only in the PPMs....
