For my first try, I aimed for a threshold experience to give me a good idea of what to expect. I'd read a few online reports, of course, but first-hand experience is so much better...

I *carefully* measured out 10 mg, so that I could be absolutely sure of the amount I was ingesting.

It turns out to be a very nice substance. It does have a noticeable body-load, but it is easily manageable. It is strange but it feels a lot like MDMA, except it is a tryptamine... For instance, I felt like stretching out all throughout the experience.

Also, this substance just has a nice sensation about it. It seems this stuff can't hit you any other way- much like MDMA.

The difference between MDMA and Iprocin is that there is no 'rush' on this, rather a sustained 'buzz' that's quite comfortable and enjoyable. I am surprised at the intensity of a 10 mg trip, though I could quite easily have taken another 10 mg to reach the true strength of that substance; as it was, I realized I was nowhere near a possible peak.

A lot has been said about the sensual and tactile sensations on this substance. Well, it's all true. Even on a low 10 mg dosage, all I could do was think of sex for a long while...

There were no closed eye visuals - the experience was a chilled +.

It lasted about 4 hours in total, with noticeable effects up until 6 hours. I had a mild headache after the experience, so I took an aspirin to calm it.

It is a very promising substance... I'm looking forward to dancing with it again.

Thanks, I'm getting 4-HO-DIPT soon and will be trying it for the first time, and posts like this help put my mind at ease.

It's interesting your trip lasted 6 hours when PIHKAL says 4-ho only lasts 3, so I guess that's more evidence supporting the idea that 4-aco is metabolized into 4-ho.

As another noted....4-AcO-DiPT is not iprocin. The acetate ester seems to be a whole different animal. I have no experience with 4-AcO-DiPT...but with 4-Ho-DiPT (Iprocin) there is quite a deep dose/response curve. Doubling the dose (i.e. going from 10mg to 20mg) will more than double the intensity. It is a matter of 2+2=7. I'd advise going up no more than 4mg at a time.

Avoid going over about 40mg in a single dose, even with tolerance. This produces quite a bit of tremor at that level and the real possibility of seizures in higher doses...

This is true, and it's important to point it out - even though it is theorized that it metabolizes into 4-HO in the body.

Concerning dose responsiveness, I took 17 mg (of AcO) the other day and although it was stronger than my 10 mg trip, it was not so different as to say the dose/response curve is deep on this coumpound.

Though I would never go as high as 40 mg, as it has been suggested - not only does it sound like a good way to end up in the hospital, I feel it's a nice substance without the need to go so high a dose anyway.

Anyone with a different advise?
4-AcO-DIPT is dirt cheap compared to the hydroxy variant but I don´t care about the price when deciding for a new psychedelic compound.

I have another trip to report, same substance, but with 22 mg's this time

I warn all of you out there that this stuff, contrary to what I said before and consistently with what people have said, this stuff is highly dose responsive.

For all those who didn't read my previous posts on this thread, I started out at 10, then 17, and lastly 22 mg's.

If a curve was to be plotted of potency on the 'y' axis against dose on the 'x' axis, the curve would be close to exponential.

In Laymen's terms: that 22 mgs experience reached some heights. A short description: extreme visual, mental hallucinations, intense body load.

Not that it was unpleasant (- apart from the body load). I would do it again. But I didn't quite expect that.
