Opioids 30mg Roxy -- withdrawal question

I have been taking one roxy (30mg) every day for a little under 3 weeks now. I was wondering if this is long enough to experience any sort of withdrawal? If not, how long would it typically take?

Sometimes I will take 1 and a half roxys in a single day but that's the most I can do before getting nauseous or nodding off so I never more than one and a half.

Thank you for the help, guys. Sorry if this question gets asked around a lot, I really do appreciate serious answers. Just want to know what I am in for if anything.

Yes, Withdrawal can occur after as little as 2 weeks of use, however, your dose is small and it hasn't been increased so you should be fine, quit while you're ahead.

Quitting sooner will only benefit you, and your withdrawals.

You may not even experience any discomfort.

Just keep busy and you'll be fine. :)

Edit- physical Withdrawal can happen in as little as 2 weeks, IMO 3 weeks use won't render psychologically addicted, that is a behavioural condition that takes time to develop

Thanks so much for all the info, I definitely plan to stop while Im ahead. I never had a problem with cocaine at all, always was very in control of my usage, so I thought I could handle pain killers.. fuck was I wrong. Thanks again! I feel relieved.

If you're ever burdened and want to talk with some one don't hesitate to message me. :)

You will probably feel mild withdrawal for about 2-4 days(depends on you body cehmistry). The worst aspects will be general apathy, depresion, some restlessness, malaise, lack of appetite and a sore back/legs. It will peak between the 2-4 day range and all of it will have dissipated in no more than 7 days(at the most). Shouldn't be too bad, but noticeable nonetheless. You never know, though, you might get lucky and hardly notice stopping.

you should be fine and you will not experience that much if any wdrawal symtoms ata ll. I would quit while your ahead, I am now on methadone, 75 mgs, once I realized I wanted to quit. been on this maintenance program for about a month in a half now. trust me. I would have been able to keep a job, if I would have not used, other than on weekends, like a weekend warrior, in place of how people drink, I use to do pills only on weekends. wish I was like that still!

anyways take care! ( I do not need advice that I am trading one addiction for another. I WANT AND LIKE to get high, so now I am doing it legally, although I am not getting high. still...)

You are right about to cross the line into the 7% of people that become dependent (for life) or for a good chunk of it, if you keep using or increasing your dose from now the chances go up 5% every month, especially with dose increase, for example a year from now and your still using, and increased your dose to up to 180-200mg's a day you will most likely fit into those odds sadly it doesn't take long at all, or atleast it didn't in my case yet again everyone is different.

Taking a roxy and then waiting 24 hours, if that is what's happening, would be a smart thing to do because that morning or night after it can leave the system. However a physically dependent person wouldn't be able to handle a roxy a day, it may give them 30 minutes of relief but they will go right back into withdrawal shortly afterwards.

Source?

What do you mean by this? Everyone who uses opiates regularly will become physically dependent, it's the nature of the drug. Do you mean 7% of people will become psychologically addicted? And the chances of that increase with time?

Yikes I am glad I cant get these all the time it saves me from this. I am only getting 8 30's a month so I only end up doing one when I want to relax or get away from the inlaws lol

Good luck OP!
