3-desoxy-MDMA / 4-desoxy-MDMA

If it works with 6-APD, could work with MDMA, I guess.

Somebody knows if that compounds have been synthed and/or if they are active?

Speculations welcomed.
 
to be honest was surprised that there has been so much interest in the desoxy-MDA varients.

What with meph-desperation you would think people would be after a MDMA-type drug to replace it rather than MDA.
 
maybe the vendors are trying to hold one chem back so they can release it when the MDA variant gets illegal? (assuming the government dont add both of them, which is very likely)
 
I'd be willing to bet a lab (or ten) in China is working on it as we speak. At least I hope so.

They are - I have to assume they're starting from the appropriate aldehyde and doing it shulgin style... Making the n-methyl analog requires a different approach.
 
Not really, the terminal primary amine can be monoalkylated with reductive amination to the N-methyl (form imine, seperate, reduce); this has been a popular route to MDMA from MDA in the past, for example

Given that 4-desoxy-mda is already more selective for serotonin than mdma, n-methylation might work in the wrong direction. . .

So it's the chemistry.

If 6-APB turns out to be good, LAW will block the N-methyl version before it hits, that would be a shame if the N-methyl is very close in nature to MDMA.
 
Law in the UK perhaps, for the rest of us it will just be one more analog where you just hope you aren't the unlucky bastard they decide to fuck with.

true, I hear your pain :\ , although thanks to MEPH we soon will be getting one of those analogue laws, massive shame.

on a side note still not convinced 100% whether 6-APB is ACTUALLY legal anyway. Haven't heard of it being sold yet, just wild speculation and desperation (possible fakes inc NRG-X)
 
I could get rich off the meth heads around hear selling mephedrone if it wasn't for those pesky analog laws. No one has even heard of it.The street name for 2c-e around here is "that crazy shit andrew can get".
