Opioid naives and mid-tolerance users beware. Did bupe snorted for the second time.8mg (last time .4mg) It is a lot stronger than 20mg Oxy as some conversion tables would want you believe....if not in the euphoria department, but in the body effects department. Dizziness when standing up and hypotension seem much more common and stronger than on other opioids at equivalent dosage...also anxiety can easily be induced....recommend caution!!!Probably good to have tiny amount of benzo on hands...like 2-5mgs.

of diazepam.

Bupe isnt for for weekend warrior type of users, you throw and a benzo and we are talking some serious breathing problems, benzo's alone wont kill you,
Bupe is so strong that if you go to the emergency room blue and flatlined the narcane they give you CANNOT compete with the bupe already on your receptors,

Also use the Edit key to add in last minute grammar =P

bupe is a great drug to TREAT anxiety, shouldn't really cause it unless you got major stimulant effects from it while most people just get a boost of energy.. i think you're just having different or paradoxical (SP?/right word?) reaction to it, it should give a little buzz with a little bit of energy comparable to DMAA energy IMO, painkilling effects (obviously), anti-anxiety and anti-depressant effects are also felt by many, and of course.. mild euphoria, warmth, decrease in mental pain (emotional/mental problems), nodding.. the list goes on.
It is a very potent drug and if you are getting dizzy, anxiety, and hypotension you are either taking too high of a dose or are having a reaction to it like i said above. I was on it 4 years and just got off a month ago and i know all of its effects very well. I suggest not taking it anymore.. stick to the opiates that are full agonists and work differently than bupe does, obviously you and your body don't like it.. stick with oxy/hydro codone/morphone your choice.. but if you have a low tolerance start with percs, vics and codeine.. maybe tramadol but i think if you dont like bupe tramadol (since it is basically an antidepressant) will feel like it and you will not have a good time mm'kay?

Buprenorphine is interesting, and extremely potent. It works very well (as well as, if not better than, lorazepam) for anxiety/depression, and isn't as sedating as other powerful opiates.

If you're having negative side effects, you did take too much, and taking diazepam with it was not a good idea.

Combining powerful opioids with benzos if you don't have a tolerance to both is asking for trouble, glad everything ended up okay for you, OP.

Buprenorphine is a very strong opioid but is relatively safe in users with somewhat of an opioid tolerance due to a maximum hard ceiling dose. Basically the only cases of overdose involving in bupe is when there are also benzos involved. You should be extremely careful mixing the two.

OP I'm not sure what caused your own reaction, some sort of personal sensitivity to bupe, but you recommending taking benzos with opiates is quite dangerous advice without some big disclaimers.

If you read through the answers you've got so far you'll find all good advice on not mixing with benzos and just trying less bupe (it appears these effects didn't occur at half this dosage) so I'm going to close this now.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
