so my boyfriend wants me to do 2ci ive done it before but in a very SMALL dose. he did a whole vile and i did not even half. this was over a year ago, i used to love my acid and my x and mj but now i rarely do anything besides smoke. i havent done anything in over a year because of my anxiety, im on lexapro which is an ssri which has prob been brought up in discussions before but idk i just feel better asking myself. SO, is it okayif i do 2ci while on lexapro and taking xanax for my anxiety too? my fiance told me that 2ci was a desinger drug and i can trip balls if i take enough and it has a mood stabalizer. is that true?and do you guys think that i can take it and be alright?

I'm not sure about possible interactions either I have read that being on psych meds can interact with serotonin using hallucinagens so I would tread cautiously also psychadelics arent exactly ideal for someone with mental issues, ie being on psych meds. so I wouldn't risk it myself probably nothing might happen but why play games with your mental and physical health. Tell your BF there is no fuckin mood stabilizer in phenythalamines and that he shouldn't lie like that to try to get you to do drugs. especially when said drugs could cause you harm. damn some people are rediculous they will do anything to convince people to do what they want regardless of whether it harms them or not. SMH
when he says mood stabliser i think he just means that because of similar MDMA properties in all 2cb,2ci and 2ce substances it genrally keeps you happy well tripping. but i agree its bad to say that to get sumone to take drugs. I have took 2ci while taking xanax plus i take methadone every day (60mg) but i have no mental health issues maybe someone else could help with that. i agree with above also psycadelics are not genrally a good idea in this situation. i would take a guess that you having a good time but as said above why plau with fire?
I would think that while these phenythalamines may make you happy for a few hours, the serotonin draining aspect of them will cause the exact "OPPOSITE" of mood stabilization over time. mood stabilizers regulate and keep the serotonin flowing, these drugs use it all up at once leaving the user happy for a few hours then low on it for sometime after effectively making their mood much worse,. mixing it with an ssri or snri that does stabilize mood through serotonin (like lexapro) can be dangerous and cause too much serotonin in the body (serotonin syndrome) which can be fatal if left untreated, this is why I am so disgusted at his attempt to get her to use it so bad. it really could harm her and at the least have the opposite effect of the mood stabilizer anyway

Lexapro is not an MAOI, and neither is 2C-I. The combination should be safe. However, SSRI's, which lexapro is, tend to block the effects of serotonergic drugs, including all typical psychedelics (as well as MDMA and the like). There is certainly no hazard in combining 2C-I with lexapro/Escitalopram (unless lexapro/escitalopram is an MAOI, but i don't see any indication that it is) - however, you may need more 2C-I to get decent effects, if you're even able to trip at all.
It's debated whether SSRIs and MDMA (and similar triple release agents) are safe to combine, but the bulk of anecdotal reports suggest that the SSRI's blunt the effects of MDMA and similar drugs, so you can take them safely together, you just won't get high.

thanks! ive beenreading about 2c-i experiences, have you ever done it? i know that if i have a freak out i can take the xanax and i will be okay. ( i also know i shouldnt be thinking that way but i cant help it) i was also reading experiences where peoples heartrate and blood pressure increased rapidly, i was wondering if anyones done it and had that happen to them?

I don't know about you, but when i'm excited about something, my heart rate and presumably BP goes up a bit!). I'm fairly sensitive to cardiovascular sideffects (adderall, 3-FMC and methylone give me palpitations at ridiculously low doses), and i've never felt concerned physically on 2C-I. 2C-I is also pretty friendly in terms of not freaking out - on the flipside, it's not suitable for deep introspection in most peoples' opinions.

^^I've never had heart rate and pulse problems, but I have gotten extremely uncomfortable physically, as well as getting anxiety attacks on occasions. Now granted, I was doing it often and ion large doses, which could very well have contributed to that, but it is still something to be aware of. Having your xanax around is a very smart thing to do if you decide to take 2ci
alright thanks for all the info, i get the same way sometimes too with adderrall and such but not all the time. i think im gunna try it! if it doesnt work becuase of the lexapro oh well, it wont bother me. but it is safe with xanax right? someone who posted earlier said it was but i just want to make sure again cause im just that way

ya, totally safe, and like i said, may even be encouraged.
