2CI to Lsd

So I did 2c-I last monday..I'm wanting to try LSD on Wednesday or Thursday this week..Will I have a decent trip? I'm planning on trying 450mcg..any advice would be greatly appreciated.

im no expert, but 450 ug is a pretty hefty dose for a first time, at least from what ive heard. 2c-i is alot of fun though, amazing time if you take some MDMA with it too ))

Thanks guys, I figured I'd be fine but I just wanted some other opinions...i'm 6'3 220lbs thats why i chose to try 450..think I need to go lower? I really wanna blast way the fuk off

Size/weight does not seem to matter as much with psychedelics as with other drugs, dunno why. May have to do with genetic expression of various receptor subtypes in certain parts of the brain, but that's completely unsubstantiated guessing on my part. Anyway, if its your first time with LSD I'd do less than 450. Probably not more than 250... If you've tripped on it a number of times before & are looking to knock things up a couple notches, 450 might be a good dose.

With regard to tolerance it's usually best to wait at least 2 weeks, but in the timetable you're talking about I'd imagine tolerance to be minimal, though psychedelic tolerance is a finicky beast.

Im guessing you will have a great time especially because LSD is much safer than 2C-I, A test kit is always recommended.
If you take 450mcg make sure to space the hits out every hour if you take them all at once your asking for it

Although tolerance to phenethylamines lasts for a good week, it also builds quite slowly so you should be able to trip just fine. The more important issue IMHO is related to self control in this case. Why can;t you just wait a little longer until your tolerance has come down to baseline? The LSD isn't going anywhere!

I would recommend lowering your dose if you do go ahead with this as 450ug is a large dose.

He dosed last monday... he wants to dose this wednesday or thursday... that's over a week and seems perfectly fine to me.

450ug is an enormous dose. I would suggest 250 to start if you want a really high dose.

I'm going up to Alaska on Friday, I'd love to wait till I get there, but I'm worried about the acid being in my pocket or in a bag during the two days I won't be able to keep it frozen or refrigerated..thats why I'm choosing to take it the day before my flight..plus I think It will give me something to reflect on while I wait 8 hours at the airport.

Yeah agreed with IamMe. Go 250, I guarantee you'll still enjoy the hell out of the experience.

I knew someone who took slightly less for his first time (more like 350 - 400) he ended up breaking a nurses nose with his forehead and landing himself in hospital. Be careful, LSD can be a serious business and the tiniest increases in doses can make a huge difference to what you experience.

You don't have to worry about this. LSD can last for months unrefrigerated, just put it in a plastic bag.

Even if it were not your first time, taking 450 ug of LSD the day before a flight is pretty damn irresponsible. I've seen people lose their minds or start throwing up at doses as low as 200 ug. I wouldn't recommend a first time tripper take anything over 100 ug of LSD, frankly.

^ Yeah I would probably also advise against doing it before the flight. Psychedelics are best consumed when you are carefree with nothing too hectic to do in the coming days. Otherwise it has a tendency to lean towards panicking when you associate how completely legless you are, to what you have accomplish in a set time period (packing, getting the airpot, etc)

Won't always happen but it certainly can.

Thanks for all the helpful advice, one more question and I'll stop bumping this thread...I'd like to know what I should do while I take my trip..I'm not some edgy little douche just doing this to see pretty colors (that's what the 2ci and nbome is for) and tell my friends about how awesome and enlightened I am now..I generally want to get some useful insight out of this..I'm thinking of meditating in a comfortable room with some of my favorite music playing..Should I do this to try and induce the trip or just go about my usual recreational ways and watch a movie/take a walk/play some video games??

The meditation idea is great and so are the movie/walk/video game ones, but don't try and "induce" or force a trip; let it flow naturally with no expectations.

I may be incorrect, but isn't 2CI a phenethylamine, and LSD is a tryptamine? Do phenenthylamines and tryptamines have cross-tolerances? I don't ever recall having an MDA/MDMA experience affect an LSD experience due to tolerance

2C-I is a phen, but LSD is an ergoline. Not that it matters, because the important thing is the mechanism of action; both drugs are 5ht2 receptor agonists, which is what counts. MDMA/MDA are not/to a much lesser degree.
