2cb - SSRI prevent their effect or not?

SSRI do stop MDMA working due to SSRI occupying relevant receptors (I think). What about 2cb? I am asking for another person, I cannot test it myself since I am not on SSRI. And that person is drug newbie and I would not want them to use with uncertainty regarding effect. Meaning that causes anxiety for that person.

I tried searching here and elsewhere but 2cb does not seem popular enough to find such information.

thanks!

I have no idea but if I had to guess I'd say "less so" than mdma. I think bees are more about 2C receptor subtypes than 2A.

In short yes. SSRIs will lower or diminish most of the effects of psychedelics, including 2c-b.
But depending on exact SSRI, how long person takes it, individual neurochemistry etc. dose of 2c-b might be increased until it works. That dose might be higher than normal heavy dose but if that doesn't work person should not push it. Still initial dose should not be higher than dose needed normally.

2c-b definitely works on 5ht2a receptors too and totally blocking it would probably make it hardly work or might even make it a bad experience. And many SSRIs are antagonists on other 5ht receptors too anyway. At least that are my assumptions.

Edited post as I mistakenly wrote should instead might so someone on SSRIs wouldn't assume it's a good idea to simply take a heavy dose and hope it'll work.
@jimdron that's almost certainly wisest decision. Breaking trough SSRIs with high doses of psychedelics, depending on exact psychedelic might be even more dangerous than doing so with opiod agonists while on antagonists.
