2C-T-2 - Second Time - Different But Pretty Good

My first experience with 2C-T-2 was a very introspective and visually dazzling experience. With no major business pressing, I decided to throw a pre-New Year party for myself and give it another spin. I ingested 20mg at around 7am with no particular agenda in mind. After about an hour, there was some stomach disturbance, but nothing a good poop didn't take care of. I was just looking for something to pass the time and decided on stand-up comedy. I started Paul Rodriguez and lay down to listen. Soon, I found myself very immersed in his comedy. Not only was I experiencing the situations he was describing, but I felt immersed in the culture he conveyed. Spanish accentuation became more pronounced and more interesting to me. While my vocabulary is serverely limited, I felt like I had a stronger understanding of the spanish words even if I didn't understand them literally.

The ethnic experience was so interesting to me, I decided to continue the theme and played Bill Engvall. While it's not really "ethnic", it was interesting in and of itself to go from LA Spanglish to a Texas drawl. Bill's show was fairly interesting, but I think by that time I was past the peak and the immersive qualities of the trip had diminished. After that, I opted for Billy Connolly and his strong Scottish accent. The show was very funny, but the trip was quite diminished by then and had almost completely lost it's visual element. I listened to Bill Cosby to kill time until I had enough of my wits about me to think rationally and use the computer normally again.

At about hour 5 (during Bill Cosy, I think), I had a really strong taste of blood in my mouth that didn't go away for probably an hour. I was not bleeding, and had to verify that with myself several times. Also, during the come-up I could not get this terrible smell out of my nose. I had to bury my nose in the sheets of my bed just to keep from gagging. I'm pretty sure it was a candle my wife keeps at the head of the bed which was the source of the smell, but it usually smells OK if not pretty good. After about 6 hours I had a pretty bad headache which subsided after 3 or 4 hours, but didn't go away until after I was asleep that night. This was not a feature in my last trip with 2c-t-2 (which was the same dosage), so I'm not which what's different this time around.

Overall the trip was very different this time around. It wasn't as visual, even at its most immersive. At times it felt like 2c-t-7, but less intense and less dissociative. The next time I try this one, I'll probably bump the dose up to 22-25mg and see if it intensifies the trip.

I've had 2C-T-2 twice. Both times I had similar experiences. Initial nausea was there, but not too bad. No vomiting, and it didn't feel as bad as something like DXM. The body high was pretty cool. Euphoric but with jaw clenching and muscle tightness. The mental trip was almost non-existant. The visuals were absolutely amazing. Very unique and strong visual distortions. Dancing and moving around were much better than just sitting around and chilling out.

I may finally get around to trying 2C-T-2 this year (I guess that makes it a new years resolution huh), having fooled around a bit last year with 2C-T-7 and been a little disappointed, and having read that often people who don't like one end up liking the other more.

Interesting to read your comment about weird smells. I think people often fail to notice the olfactory hallucinations of a trip, but if you look for them they're definitely there along with visual, auditory, and tactile. I remember several trips where I kept asking my wife "What stinks in here? Why does the sink smell like fish?" and she looking at me like I was crazy because if anything the sink smelled like it had just been cleaned.
