2C-T-2, Bodyload and Walking

SWIM just recently took 30mg of 2c-t-2 (first experience) and went to a metal concert. (SWIM knows this isn't a conventional place to trip, but SWIM enjoys it)

SWIM just wanted to talk about the body load. SWIM felt no considerable nausea and only noticed a difficulty with standing. SWIM felt quite uncomfortable standing in one place, and SWIMs neck felt tense.

The weird thing is that when walking out of the concert SWIM could barely walk up the stairs (and there was only 3 steps), but the second SWIM walked out into the street SWIM lost all body load and could walk perfectly normal, if anything SWIM was walking faster than usual and felt lighter.

SWIM was just wondering if anyone else noticed this when on this chemical and if anyone could share any insight into the reason for this?

(Thinking back SWIM thinks that he couldn't get up the stairs all too easily because of the intensity of the visuals. Which SWIM may add were quite mind-blowing in there intensity, but not alll too different from other psychedelics)

I took about 20mg 2 days ago and noticed no bodyload in terms of standing but plenty of nausea on the come up. Didn't notice any difficulties getting around my house so who knows what's up with the chem. My friend tried it and told me that he and the people he was with felt no nausea.

Gonna try 30mg soon, the visuals at 20 were pretty impressive so I'm gonna explore it at a higher level and take note of the bodyload/comeup.

I've never had this issue myself with 2C-T-2, but everyone reacts differently to each substance. 30mg is a good dose, so you must have been tripping pretty hard, and 2C-T-2 can have quite an OOB element, certainly at higher doses. I have experienced a complete inablity to walk on mushrooms before. And I read in another thread recently greenmeanies said that he had experienced the same phenomenon on mushrooms, and described it as "my soul became immersed in the warm womb of the universe". It's not so much about a body-load as it is being really far out, which is why it's best with these kinds of experiences to be in a place where you can lay down and surrender.

By the way, we don't use SWIM!

OK Thanks for telling me about SWIM. :)

And i think i should attribute the uncomfortable standing to the fact that I was in a crowded concert, that was the only thing that somewhat bugged me about the trip, but if anything it created a nice body buzz, much like eating hash or weed.

I did notice a bit of the OOB element, I was easily confused when trying to talk to people and was completely oblivious to other things (like smoking a joint right beside a police station).

I've always been curious as to having an OOB experience for a trip, what kind of doses are we talking about to create that effect?

Well I often like to dose high on 2C-T-2, as it's such a full psychedelic. Even on moderate doses (~25mg) I feel like I am somewhat surroundeed by entities. I'll usually prepare two 25mg capsules, and as I feel it coming up at around T+1:30-2:00 I'll drop the other one. This staggered dosing allows you to ease in to the plateau without serious nausea, and also extends the duration of the trip for a few hours. I'm actually one of the few who doesn't get a negative body-load from 2C-T-2, but still, at higher doses the effect can be felt in the stomach.

Like you, I also find the body-buzz to be pleasant. My first trip with 2C-T-2 was with a friend, and we both described it as a cosmic chakra shower, it was like a soul massage. It connects you physically and spiritually, which allows you to turn any negative physical feelings in to soothing rushes of celestial energy.

My more recent 2C-T-2 excursions have been with oral and rectal dosing combined. That is, using the second dose rectally. It comes up really fast, like within 10 minutes, and if you time it right, you can get the peaks to combine. During the peak I'll find myself floating off. This is when you have the biggest window to let yourself dissolve. The rest of the experience really lends itself to connecting with everything around you. Going for a walk in nature is spectacular, not in an acidy or mushroom way, more like mescaline. You really feel connected and rooted to Mother Earth and the Gaian 'matrix' around you. It lends itself to getting in touch with your spiritual side.

If you're looking for a fully-fledged OOB experience on a psychedelic, I would recommend DPT. It really allows you to go all the way, and it is a superb entheogen.

if you're looking for a somewhat consistent/fully fledged OOB experience, take ketamine. i'm pretty sure that's the best one and 2c-t-2 isn't really noted for its particular efficacy to cause OOB experiences

maybe 4th plateau dxm even (though i have no idea why you would even think to subject yourself to that) but OOB are more characteristic of dissociative psychedelics than non dissociative psychedelics.

Thanks for the info... I've got plenty of 2c-t-2 so maybe i'll give that a try sometime :)

And i have tried to have an OOB experience with K....but it's never worked for me. I don't know how much you have to do but I blew a .6 or so in one line and it didn't send me OOB..

Don't do needles. Ketamine never produced an OOB state in me either. I wouldn't class the hole as an out of body experience, nor the more complete astral projection state. The dissociative anaesthetics don't really lend themselves to the meditative space required to launch oneself in to an astral state. But the 5-HT psychedelics do; they bring you to the cusp, where you can let go if you want to. They can also teach you the mental techniques required to do this whilst you are sober. Certain 5HT psychedelics are more suited to this than others; DPT is another good one that comes to mind.
