Searching on Bluelight it seems that the Big and Dandy 2C-P thread died some time ago. Of course, there are references to the substance dotted around, but it does seem fairly rare on terms of threads, hence this mini trip report.
The background to this trip is that it followed a period of fairly intense tripping for me. The prior night I had taken 15mg 2C-E plugged in combination with an oral dose of 20mg miprocin and 20mg metocin. Of course, if I took those quantities with no tolerance I would have been floored, but as it was I had a decent but unexceptional ride. I had expected this to be a last hurrah before abstaining for a few weeks pending a midsummer visit to Scotland and making use of the extended daylight.
However, the opportunity presented itself to try out some 2C-P and I figured that a low dose would be a nice treat.
I have used 2c-p twice before at the 3mg plugged dose, but both times were 12+ hours into a DOC trip so I hadn't yet flown solo.
So, around 6.15pm I took 3mg of 2c-p administered rectally. By about 8pm I was feeling some alerts, and by 10pm I was operating at a fairly high level on some work.
As far as psychoactive effects go, my mood was lifted substantially. I was able to focus on my work with no real distractions (in the zone I guess).
Visually, there was some minor crawling on specific surfaces (kitchen worktops, wood grain etc.), but not enough to distract at all. What was nice was that if I focused on the visuals I could get more from them.
At about 11pm my wife went to bed, so I decided to vape some weed. This magnified the effects by a lot. Visuals became much more pronounced and I could definitely feel more of a headfuck going on.
Vaping another load of weed brought me up to a strong ++ bordering on +++. I was very pleasantly surprised. The visuals were still fairly under control, but there was quite a bit of depth to the head trip. Thought loops became fairly pronounced, although nothing too extreme and I found myself almost zoning out on a few occasions. I did debate another round of weed, but decided against it as I had work the following morning. I lay and enjoyed the trip until about 1.30 am when I fell asleep.
In summary, this was a very enjoyable experience. I hadn't expected anywhere near the effect I got given the level of tolerance. 3mg is a small dose, although admittedly the ROA may have acted to double the effective dose. The really interesting aspect was the level of control that I had over the effects. I honestly feel that if I had not smoked the weed then I could have happily bumped along at the + level before going to bed. As it was I was almost able to micro manage the effects using the weed.
