2C-Is

I recently recieved an email from a lab which stated that they were creating a new chem called 2C-Is (2,5-Dimethoxy-4-isopropylphenethylamine)


Here's a copy of the email (edited to fit BL and ADD rules)

Hi,

For you interest: at the moment we are working on a special new compound -
2,5-Dimethoxy-4-isopropylphenethylamine or 2C-Is.
This compound has not been synthesised before. However its analogs were
mentioned :

(1) 1-(2,5-Dimethoxy-4-isopropylphenyl)-2-aminopropane

The new compound supposedly possesses similar pharmacological properties
to 2 C-E.

Anyone have any insight as to what this new chem will be like?

3,5-dimethoxy-4-isopropylphenethylamine (isoproscaline) is quite active. Generally the 3,4,5 compounds are LESS potent than the 2,4,5s. I imagine 2C-IP (or 2C-IS as it is now being called) will be quite active. Send me some and I'll tell you.

Isoproscaline is 4-isopropoxy, not 4-isopropyl. The 2C analog of isoproscaline is 2C-O-4, which is rather mild and requires around a ~50 mg dose for good effects. Isoproscaline itself is quite nice.
