2c-i v 2c-e

a while back a guy i know took 25mg of 2c-i and had a pretty intense experience, with all sorts of color distortion and OEV's. the most intense of which were clouds. clouds morphed about as if they were living, and new clouds budded out of old coulds, etc.
however, 3 weeks later they same guy tried 15mg of 2c-e, almost threw up and barely got any visuals at all.
i know based on the erowid dosage scale, 25mg is a heavy dose of 2c-i, and 15mg of 2c-e is a moderate dose, but from what ive read 2c-e is supposed to be much more intense.
how much 2c-e is necessary (on average, because i know that it varies from person to person) to match or outdo 25mg of 2c-i?

2c-e is usually more visual at higher doses. Not only that but it was a very steep dosage curve. So 15mg could be light, and 17mg could be (and is TRUST ME!!!) very intense.

Try doing a higher dosage, i'd say around 20mg, but if you are not experienced psychonaut, you might want to stick to 16-18mg.

Apples, oranges, cherries, potatoes, bananas, kumquats and completely unanswerable. There is just no way to know. Visuals are completely subjective and not necessarily dose-dependant. I don't get anything much in the way of visuals on either. Some get insane visuals on doses half the size you mention.

Read up on both (linkies in my sig) and decide which sounds more appealing to you. Visuals aren't the be all and end all of tripping - just a bit of eye-candy really. A minor side-effect of psyches but a pretty one for sure
