2C-D pharmacology?

I'm not sure 2C-D potentiates drugs in a physiological sense. Moreso, it seems to create a kind of amplifier to increase the perceived effects of other psychedelics. Obviously, 2C-D is already quite trippy, but adding something like smoked DMT adds up to an increased intensity and longevity. The experience is more intense due to the synergistic effects of two potent hallucinogens, and the length of the experience is only increased perceptually as the 2C-D amplifies the tail end of a DMT trip. If you know anything about audio, think compressors.
And yes, 2C-D is safe for people on SSRI's.

Ive heard that if you take a half dose of MDMA and a dose of 2C-D you will feel the effects of the MDMA as if it were a full dose. Is there any reason to believe it would work with 4-FA too? Im not really familiar with psychidelics much so I only sort of understood what you said before.

I don't know, 2C-D seems to increase the psychedelic effects of other psychedelics, but I don't know what happens with stimulants/empathogens. I've combined 2C-D with dexamp and methamp with a net result of awesomeness, a calmer feeling of stimulation with a more jovial mindstate then either substance by themself. I haven't combined it with MDMA...

than perhaps the thread should have been named appropriately (potentiating 4fa with 2cd)....
anyway, you might consider the stimulating effects of 2cs in general, and adding another stim to that might give way to a little too much stimulation..
ive not had the pleasure of trying these both at the same time, but this added stimmyness is what is keeping my supersticious self from doing it.

If you dislike psychedelics then you are not going to want to potentiate your 4-fa with a psychedelic. Especially one you haven't yet tried. Always try a substance on its own first before using it in a combo.
The best thing is to just use a higher dose of 4-fa, or re-dose if you are trying to prolong it. Bear in mind that serotonin releasing amphetamines will cause catecholamine depletion if used too often or for too long in a session.

Dont do that. You're looking for something to potentate a speedy chemical. You do not want to be tripping while you're coming down from 4-FA. If you take that 2c-d I predict it will be very unpleasant.
2C-D, even if it adds little character of its own in combinations and seems to potentiate other drugs, is still a psychedelic and can make you trip. the original quote from pihkal about "pharmacological tofu", that takes on the character of any other thing you add on top was only referring to psychedelics iirc.
