2c-d/LSD used as cognitive enhancers

Was wanting to hear if anyone here has had success in using sub-psychedelic dosages of these or any other pychedelic drug to enhance their understanding of science concepts/doing homework or any other cognitive work. I have used 2c-b in the past during workouts and it has boosted my stamina outrageously at 2-5mg doses, this trial has me excited to try 2c-d for head work :)

I've also heard of LSD being used in this same capacity but I am wondering what constitutes a sub psychedelic dosage. Half a tab? I can't acquire pure LSD crystal for the time being so my doses won't get much more accurate than that..

For the sake of getting accurate recommendations I have no tolerance to psychedelics. I don't exactly remember the last time I dosed but it's been over a few months and I don't trip much more often then once every 3-6 months and I don't plan on tripping at all when in school so tolerance will not be an issue. The erowid article on 2c-d and the several analogs tested as smart drugs was very exciting to me but then it seemed the reports of individuals attempting the same sounded lack luster. Reports of their efficacy in this would be most appreciated :)

I am not familiar with the 2C-x family, but i would imagine Lsd would have too long of a "duration" for what you are looking for. I have read the articles on erowid you are speaking about and they may have some substance. I would try something short actin like 2c-d. Good luck and safe travels, report back and let us know how this goes.

LSD is a good nootropic, but you need to have a few tabs to calibrate your dose.

The general experience I have had is that even with half a tab, good acid is pretty fucking potent and you'll be pretty wide-eyed. 1/4 tab or less is probably best if you want "nootropic" doses not "ohh pretty colors and trails" doses. But of course if you have weak tabs one half a tab may be just enough.

I've not read any successful reports of using 2c-d as a nootropic, aside from the infomercial sounding piece on erowid. I feel psychedelics can be useful in getting past conceptual issues or attempting to see a problem from a different viewpoint, but in getting down to the actual nuts & bolts of cognitive work they have not been very effective, IME. YMMV as always though.

Tried using LSD At a low dose for this once. There is a reason Adderall is popular...

I just can't focus on things when tripping. Free association is great, so maybe for a brainstorming session you could do it, but don't try to write a paper with it.

I think LSD is the best chemical tool for problem solving. At big doses, it shows you how to answer big problems. For little problems like schoolwork, you need a very little dose -- from my experience, 20-40μg. But there are pre-requisites: you have to be willing to work on the problem, and it won't give you skills or talents you don't already have.

What is does do is unblock thought. It erases self-imposed limits. It puts a door in the wall.

My recommendation is try it for a project, but during the brainstorming or learning phase -- not the day before it's due. You need your sober mind to snip the loose ends and hem the seams.
