I have already asked in PD to see if any anecdotal evidence existed on this subject, at the min I'm drawing a bit of a blank so I hope someone can help.

I'd like to know if 2C - D is safe to consume along with Mirtazapine. I've been on 45mg a day for a few years, and have used many drugs with no adverse effects. Mirtazapine is a tetracyclic anti depressant.

In the past 2C- B has always worked fine. Is D likely to act in a similar way? Does 2C - D act as an MAOI at all?

Thanks

I thought mirtazapine was a 5-HT2A antagonist and would therefore block the effects of psychedelics such as the 2C-X compounds.

As far as I know, mirtazapine has no direct interactions with psychedelics. (I've tripped on 2c-e and dmt while taking it.)

However, since mirtazapine is a norepinephrine and serotonin activity enhancer, I found the effects could sometimes be too intense (mostly the cardiovascular effects) Start low with the 2c-d

So far my med's havn't blocked/prevented me from tripping on various things, lsd, 2c-b etc. Although acid is definately slighty less visual than before.

I intend on taking about 40mg of D to test it out.

Thank you for the reply's so far guys :)

It would appear that mirtazapine is a weak enough antagonist at such sites that it will allow one to trip. I've not tried this in vivo, but this seems to be what aggregate experiences suggest. :)
