2c-c releasing serotonin ?

Table 2 says 2c-c affect 5HT re-uptake, table 3 is about release.

Haven't read it in detail, but in the abstract it says that the tested 2C and TMA compounds "slightly influenced the re-uptake and release of monoamines." Table 2 shows that they found 2Cs to inhibit 5-HT and NE reuptake (at relatively high concentrations). Table 3 lists 2C-C and TMA as a weak NE resp. 5-HT releaser.

I don't see where they say that 2C-C is a 5-HT releaser, perhaps I missed it though :)

These numbers look too large to be of relevance in normal doses anyway (assuming they can be carried over to the functional brain of the human animal).

So it does not release serotonin, right? When i read the abstract i thought when they said it releases monoamines they meant serotonin, my bad, sorry.

At least not in this assay up to 0.1 mM, no. Nothing to say sorry for ;)
