Adequate information exist regarding 2C-B's role as a ligand at 5-HT receptors (ex. Moya et al., 2007), presumably accounting for the compounds psychedelic effects. However, upon research, no information of value was found regarding its action on the monoamine transporter system. Given vast historical and anectodal evidence of 2C-B as an empathogenic aphrodisiac, and in light of what is described in litterature concerning the mechanism behind such classes, it is reasonable to suggest 2C-B having significant interaction with VMAT2 and related.
