Oral administration of 12mg cap of 2C-B
initial set:
I was extremely excited about this, as a friend had organised for us to try this together. I was also slightly anxious, as I get about prettymuch all of my drug use, especially since I had never tried this substance before and I had researched accordingly. In all other cases I was pretty normal, I had eaten approximately 2hrs previously. My housemate, boyfriend and another friend had taken LSD at around 2pm so they were making me eager to try out my new substance.
initial setting:
The whole thing took place at my house, with the listed people present:
* 5 friends who had taken LSD - all at different stages of their trips.
* 1 friend doing MDMA.
* my friend who was taking the 2C-B with me.
* me housemate who was chainsmoking.
* her boyfriend who was observing.
There was music playing in the lounge room and everyone was relatively happy and chatty, those who were taking LSD had just taken more.
This was the setting at the beginning when I dropped, but it all changed significantly throughout the night and I will comment on that throughout the report.
report:
+0.00 Dropped cap of 2C-B, washed down with water. Went and sat in my room and socialied with friends who were over and tripping.
+0.20 Was sitting in the lounge room listening to the music when I suddenly felt a tightness about my body, especially around my neck area. I noticed that I could feel the rhythm of the music slightly. I felt rather uncomfortable and a bit anxious as I had read that the expected come on was about 2hrs.
+0.30 Moved to my room and sat down at my computer. At this time I got an intense wave of coldness over me followed by uncontrollable shaking (ie, my hands and legs were all shaky, kind of like tremors). I felt fantastic! The only way I could describe it is like an intense MDMA peak, everything felt good and intense. During this time I also experienced a wave of rather intense nausea, which was probably made worse by my having eaten approximately 2hrs previously. The nausea was a big downer on my mood as it lasted for about 30-45mins and was at the level where I just wanted to throw up but couldnt.
+0.40-+1.00 During this time I had extremely intense visuals - colours, distortion etc. I noticed that during this I had no reality issues as I have had previously with LSD, I could function and interact with everyone normally, just with the intense hallucinations. I did have a slightly 'clouded' brain however, so I still felt fucked.
+1.00-+3.00 Here imparts a rather lengthy and boring description of the events which occurred during the next 2-3hrs of my trip, all of which I believe was very important in the progression and effect of my trip..
An important event that occurred during this time (I'm unsure of exactly when) was that a group of people (about 8) came around that my housemate had invited. They basically consisted of her best friend, her best friend's younger brother and his band (who were aged between 13-17yrs). Most of them ended up on the front landing doing shots of burbon until they were significantly drunk. About 5-10mins previously a few of the guys tripping had done a bucket bong each and were about to hit a strange point in their trip. One of the younger guys who had just turned up was acting rather silly and decided to single out one of my housemates who was tripping, causing him to freak out somewhat, so he went to bed with some valium to try and calm down a bit. The drunken kids were starting to get rowdy and those of us who were tripping one way or another were starting to get rather annoyed with their presence. So we ended up in my room. At this time my boyfriend, who'd taken 6 trips and a bucket bong proceeded to turn himself into a 2yr old on my bed - unable to talk or move properly. Another friend who had also done a bucket bong started to freak out, which was fortunately reversed by me talking to him. So basically, within about a 30min period, everything went extremely pear shaped with 3 of the trippers, leaving the rest of us to deal with the situation. Its at this time when I really appreciated the clarity that I had in my head, as I had the ability to be completely fucked, yet I was able to control the situation and make sure everyone was ok.
I also spent most of this time wandering about the house enjoying my visuals and randomly telling people how great a time I was having.
+3.00-+4.00 I ended up in my bedroom alone looking after my boyfriend. Someone had turned off the light so we were lying on the bed in the darkness. There was music playing on my stereo and as I lay there listening it felt like I could hear everything in perfect surround with perfect clarity, like the band was playing in the room with us. I found this rather amazing. It was also around this time when the affects started wearing off. I found that with the lights off I could feel everything a lot stronger than when the lights were on. I basically spent the majority of this hour looking after my boyfriend, making sure he didnt start to have a bad trip.
+4.00-+4.30 I would have to say that prettymuch as quickly as everything came on, everything disappeared. The last 30mins of my trip was a rather quick comedown. The visuals just quickly died down to nothing, leaving me feeling fine with no kind of noticeable comedown effects. I just started feeling normal again. The only feeling I got was a want to try it again at some time.
About 30mins after this some of us started to do pills, but I noticed no lingering effect of the 2C-B throughout the rest of the night. It had basically gone as quickly as it had come, leaving no noticeable trace.
sum up:
All in all I had a fantastic night on this drug and would definately try it again if I had the chance, unfortunately my friend who I did it with had no effects at all at the 12mg dose that we took, which was unfortunate. The events of the evening were a bit of a downer, but nothing went horribly wrong that we couldnt easily control, leaving me to enjoy my trip.
