Bluelighter
Description: 14 mg 4-bromo-2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine, measured to a +/-2 mg range, as fine snow-white crystals placed into a white 0-sized gelatin capsule, of typical purity achieved through standard washes and re-crystallizations, taken orally.
Background: The experience was relatively recent one, with me in generally good health (other than a relatively benign ectopic atrial tachycardia). I have had previous experience with entheogens such as DPT, Ketamine, LSA, MDMA, Salvia, 2C-I, 5-MeO-DiPT, 5-MeO-DMT, and a couple others. All substances, including caffeine and marijuana were avoided as best as possible for 4 days prior. Fasting took place for approximately 19 hours prior, with passive meditation prior to the experience. I was well rested, in a comfortable set and setting, surrounded mainly by my typical "tripping buddies", and a couple extra people. The intent of the trip was to simply sample a new material, and to possibly confront new-found trust and empathy due to a "intense" emotional release the day prior.
THE EXPERIENCE
In most cases, I find myself sensitive to many-a-substances, and therefore felt that a 14 mg dose would be ideal for a first attempt. Of my two usual 'tripping buddies', one was dosing on approx 26 mg 2C-T-7, and the other on a 16 mg dose of 2C-B. After dosing, however , we all retreated to watch the movie "Waking Life" (as we all enjoy philosophy, and it's discussion both sober and under the influence). Now, if any of you have ever seen this movie, you will understand how visually interesting it can be even on it's own, and so I found it made a GREAT way to come up for the experience. The first noted effect was a slight feeling of anxiety (typical of myself, when left physically inactive after dosing), and a slight raise in heart rate (attributable possibly to both the anxiety or actual come-up).
At approximately the 20-25 minute point, the first hints of both mental effects, and interesting visual changes became present. Associations gradually became very abstract, and objects appeared to "shrink and grow" in an interesting manner, along with slight patterning. As the movie became increasingly complex, me and my fellow 2C-B'er decided to escape to the upstairs and involve ourself in some childish and playful fun, games, and music. Laughter became contagious and uncontrollable, though not deep-set in the stomach, and came very naturally, leaving me in a very euphoric and intoxicated state.
At approximately the 1 hour point, all three of us decided to head outside to view the "scenery" in the rather suburban area (as opposed to our typical city-located trips). The winter air felt absolutely orgasmic hitting my skin, and I was able to enjoy the beautiful yet gradual darkening of the sky, and the gentle undisturbed snow on the leaf-less trees. The aesthetic enhancement was duely noted, and very well appreciated.
However, at a point in time I am unaware of, the "purpose" of the trip became very evident to me. While discussing relationships, and human interaction with my fellow 2C-B'er, I gradually came to realize the playful come-up for this trip was simply to relax and slip-away from the new-found emotional epiphany the day prior. However, I was now prepared to return to it, and I felt the same wondrous sensation of caring, comforting, and love come over me. I then found myself retreating to a piano to attempt to express musically the empathy felt within. And in the most amusing and amazing moment of all, I received a phone call from the person involved in the emotional release yesterday, coincidentally (or possibly not) humming the same tune flowing off the piano moments before with this individual in mind.
To cut the rest of the trip short, a pleasant mental afterglow resulted during the comedown, with some (related?) leg-soreness, easily relieved with a tylenol, 7 hours into the experience. Dreams that night were vivid and intruiging, riddled with symbolism. However, I still found myself as happy as ever to lie in the arms of the one who first taught me true love.
Conclusion: What can I say other than "what a wonderful material". Although a higher dose is most definitely in order for experiences to come, it's unique and versatile character helped me integrate some recent life-experiences which I'm sure will not be soon forgotten! This material is definitely gets my little stamp of approval!
