I was being sarcastic. Its not a shit thread in my opinion, but people will moan it is. surely theres people on here that appreciate art and creativity etc, post some stuff up. people were moaning this place isnt busy enough before, threads for random shit may get decent discussions going. or is that retarded thinking

The times ive posted stuff like this gibberings it ended up in a discussion worthy of a thread, so i started making separate threads for it. and then people moan lol

Yes, it's a bottle of Vimto, and no, it isn't advertising, but heritage-related. Kinda says it all about my home city.
 
Not only do you get the Vimto sculpture, but as a bonus you get some pretty railway viaducts and the best collection of modernist buildings in one single area of the city. What's not to love?

I hear that's where the best looking guys pass by too, though I can't vouch for that.

It may well have been fear of mugging / lack of reason to enter the UMIST campus area which has deterred you so far. It wouldn't be my preferred route at night, but during the day it's as safe as houses, and can be a pleasant little temporary urban retreat. Where you can dream that you're somewhere other than Manchester.
 
That's around UMIST? Oh, weird, I've spent quite a while lurking around there in the past. (Just preying on young students, nothing sinister.) Tis a rather nice part of the city, aye!

That reminds me... there used to be house down the A90 a bit that had half a car sticking out the side on the top floor... think it might have been a Mini Cooper or something of that description.

Fuck, that place is just awesome 8o. I can only imagine what it would be like with a head full of mushrooms....
 
Holy Shit I googled my home village from Lithuania... and found a tour of it... the guys camera was right on my nans house!

Damn that brings back some good memories, and alot of emotions, even put a tear in my eye, gonna go sleep now and think about how good that place is... god I miss it
