Title pretty much speaks for itself. Was using short half life opioids for about 5 days, switched to bupe for about 3 days, using no more than .5 - 1mg per day, then used more short half life opiates yesterday, after 48 hours since last bupe dose (trying to avoid wasting drugs). Took about 35-40 mg yesterday, oxy/hydrocodone, and now, 24 hours later, I feel fine...any chance that there's still some bupe lingering on my receptors? It's been 72 hours now, and I used a very little amount....I'm really hoping that all that I have on them now is the oxy and hydro, and since their half lifes are both about 4 hours, if I feel fine after 24, I'm not going to face any withdrawals...I know these threads pop up a lot but I know there's a lot of knowledgable people on here and I just wanted some input.

If you were only using full agonist opioids for 5 days, and then miniscule doses of bupe for 3, I can't see you catching a habit and facing withdrawals when you stop. That short of a run will more than likely just cause some psychological discomfort, cravings, and maybe some anxiety/depression/insomnia.

Unless I am missing something, you should be in the clear as far as physical withdrawals..

Depends how much you used before what you said in the OP, how much bupe you used over the last week, and what your personal metabolism and brain chemistry is like. I'd say give another day or two without using and if you still get no withdrawals your in the clear.

If all you have used is what you wrote in your op then all I expect you might get is the shits for a few days.

Distyboi, your username made me laugh, cause when I was a kid, my dad would call me "Dusty boy" lol. Still does sometimes just to be funny (Im 25).
Anyways, before the 5 day binge, I had been using suboxone for about 3 or 4 weeks, off and on...to go all the way to the beginning, about 6 weeks ago, I had about 60 tramadol and 12 mg's of suboxone. For a month, I would chip on the weekends, sometimes weekdays. The most time I would take off was Monday through Friday, which I did the first week or two, then I started using during the week, taking a day or two off, trying to avoid getting dependent. But the day I ran out of my suboxone was about Nov. 23rd or so...so that shows how long I made it last, and how small my doses were...(usually less than .5mg). That's why I have a fear that everything piled up, over the past 6 or 7 weeks, has built up in my system, to where when I completely stop, I will feel some physical symptoms. But typically when using short half life opiates, withdrawals start about 12-16 hours after last dose...at least for me. I've had habits in the past, and gone through withdrawals more times than i can count.

I dont understand, your title says 24hrs and you say 72hrs.. It doesnt sound like you have a physical dependence, so like it was said above.. You might have a few cravings and some minor discomfort but if its been more than 72hrs since your last does i'd say your cool man.

Sorry, I should've specified...72 hours since I last used bupe....24 hours since I used OC/hydrocodone...I waited 48 hrs after my last dose of bupe to take the oxy/hydro. So yes, 72 hrs since I've had any bupe, but only 24 since I had oxy/hydro. Basically I got high last night, and now, 24 hours later, thought I would be in withdrawal, but I'm not. This thread can be closed though, thanks for the replies.
